Yeah we kind of did a "end screen" when you collect all the fish, but did not loop the game back to to the title screen after that. :). The whale at this stage was more like a fun easter egg, the fact that you can actually catch it with 100 hits. Thank you for your nice feedback.

We thought about a stun instead of a damage mechanic but didn't have enough time to go further into that direction. Thank you very much for your nice feedback.

very pretty artstyle!

The most satisfying sonar effect in the whole jam for me. The atmosphere is also really cool.

Thank you for your nice feedback. Funnily enough the things you wish for are things we still would have done with more time on our hands. :)

Beautiful animation and art style

classic idle dopamine hits incoming :)

Very pretty pixel art. loved the animation when the diver takes the speaker of its back.

Poseidon seems to be a chill father in law when you are not making fun of him for not having legs to play some ball.

Very pretty and i love the combination of under and above water gameplay.

thank you very much. we had a lot of fun working in pixel art since we basically tried this style for the first time.

thank you. We hoped the controls would be fun.

thank you very much.

Thank you for your very kind feedback. We were a team of three and got very quickly to an agreement on core game design so we had more time for visuals and playtesting overall.

thank you. we were 3 people and only one of us did all the coding. 2 of us focused on the visuals.

thank you, we wanted it to be funny but not force it too much. Making the Professor a shady version of a classic pokemon professor was the inspiration :)

Thank you very much for the feedback. To be fair we used some AI for the very first image of the professor. He was based on a doodle of mine and with that we generated an image  which than  completely re-drawn afterwards by us.  The actual submarine and fish models where completely done by our human hands from the start. you can see  the doodles here ...

thank you very much for the feedback.  We also have not worked much with pixel art before and enjoyed the limitations of it a lot. very happy to hear it looked appealing too.

thanks for the feedback. originally we also wanted to make the move pattern of the fish more diverse. so that would be the next step for us with more time.

Thank you very much for the feedback. Yeah the mousewheel control is "its not a bug its feature"-thingy. It was not intended to be controlled with that in mind but we also used it a lot in play tests and then just kept it in because it was fun to us to boost through the sea at high speed.

Very polished game loop and good implementation of the topic and special object. Could absolutely be released as a finished game on steam and co.

Great atmosphere because of the soundtrack and minimalistic world design

just love how unapologetically weird the vibes are.

Really liked the idea to implement the speaker as the obstacle.

really neat idea to implement the special object in fun way

I think I'm simply to slow to master this but I really enjoyed. Great art with catchy tunes. Count me in!

Great core game loop!

I don't know if there is a way to beat the boss without cheesing it but I used it and I don't feel bad about it.  Liked the approach to make the speaker more than just a voice or a stereo.

I like the idea of a "slow-mo" flappy bird :)

Strong candidate in the "vibes"-category. :)

Surprising amount of atmosphere build up for such a "basic setup" :)

Great visuals and sweet soundtrack!

Great game! Such a "simple" idea so well executed. I also really appreciated the intricate sound design. Really great job!

Thank you so much for the feedback. We had a lot more that we wanted to do but in the end we focused to give "one complete" experience. So glad to hear, it felt like that :)
