Ohhh, I bet I can guess roughly what that first one does! As for the second, I did actually find that, I just forgot in my tally earlier.

Well, I came back to it, and got a clear, in 1:50. That doesn't count a bunch of deaths and runbacks. 960HP, 212MP, and these majors (rot13'd): pbzcnff, nezbe, obbgf, ohefg fubg, oybpx fpnaare, pynjf. I wonder what major upgrades are that I missed...? I'm guessing one lets you "shoot down" somehow, there are a couple of mysteries I never figured out that seem to require that.
I'd be interested in seeing a map of the game world...I didn't make one myself. The area with the lava especially, I found myself taking a long backtrack that I'm not sure was required. Glad I found both items in that area, though! The final section would have been extremely painful without them.
I feel like the movement tech is in a bit of a weird place...it's extremely dangerous to use the slide and divekick in most rooms, especially since enemy damage is quite high compared to the health they drop. I can believe that a speedrunner might be able to make good use of them, but as a person of merely average-to-decent skill, I tried to use them a few times, got punished, and then ignored them except when obviously relevant.
Thank you for sharing your game with us :)
I came to this game with high hopes, after greatly enjoying Buntroid. But I am finding it frustratingly difficult. :( Saves are extremely few and far between, such that it's common for me to make a significant amount of progress, then die and be faced with 10-15 minutes of lost effort. The lack of an in-game map also makes navigation difficult.
I can tell that you put a lot of work into the game, and the movement tech looks promising. But after getting dumped into a boss fight with no warning, dying, and losing two major upgrades and multiple minor upgrades, I'm going to shelve this game, I'm just too frustrated.
Not sure if you're aware, but if you mash jump while sliding in 1-tile-tall gaps, you can get into a jumping state briefly, which you can use to shoot blocks. This allows for some (unintended?) sequence breaks.
