I tried to make a zero-word rpg and figured a question mark and exclamation point over and over kind of describes the sequence that a lot of ttrpgs follow. Was I successful? You decide!

Agreed!

As far as real feedback, I like how much information is included here without it feeling overcrowded, and the game concept gives a clear objective that lends itself well to a one-page rpg.

What a coincidence; Taco Taco is my favorite restaurant!

If you'd like to post your demon, go for it (be cool though, I don't want to deal with people posting bad / weird stuff). Here's a few I've summoned:

  • Can’t smell well, nor tell time

I do what I can :-0!

:-)!

The beginning is the end and it keeps coming around again ;)

The document features a white exclamation point followed by a white question mark, both over a black field.

Thank you thank you; perhaps some more stuff will come with the next one-page jam

Thank you for mentioning! However, it's intentional ;)!

Congratulations!! :)

Saya sangat menyukai cara Anda mendesain game ini, dan saya akan memainkannya saat berikutnya saya memainkan game Mythos!

(Saya minta maaf atas terjemahan yang buruk - ini langsung dari google translate).

Thank you!

Thanks for checking the game out! :)

The meta aspects of this game are very cool, I like how things can go meta in a number of directions! I also like how there are limitless avenues for customization while keeping things really well organized. Oh and finally I love the Drama-player role, that is very me hahaha.

Edit: please be cautious and make sure the art you get from sites actually is public domain! Some sites do better than others.

I love this, so great!

Thank you!

Space Game is a Post-Dadaist foray into Tom's recent game design + comedic + philosophic ideas. Synchromaximalism probably plays a role. You just gotta download it to see what I'm talking about.

Note: Space Game contains references to NSFW concepts!

The setting you've made is really evocative and the mechanics look good! Nice GMing tools, as well :)

It's been fun! Thanks for setting it up, and it'd be cool if another one happened in the future!

I really like the Hope, Hell, and Weird spread of results! The actual history of chain gangs is really rough but it seems this game is going more for the cinematic portrayal and I think it captures that well.

Reading through the game, I really like how the flow of gameplay goes (people already talked about some potentially confusing aspects so I won't repeat that feedback)! I also love the name so much haha!

I'll bear that in mind for the sequel ;-)

Thanks so much, and glad you enjoy the premise :)!

And oh jeez nine sub abilities that's great hahaha XD

Hey thank you for giving it a shot, and glad it worked out well for you!

I enjoyed playing through this :)!

Howdy; I like the concept of the game! That said, am I correct that arg-nitive is a portmanteau of argument and initiative? Because I'm not entirely sure about that. I'm also unclear on a few aspects that I think would be easier to understand if they were separated into different sections or subheadings, something along those lines. In terms of design, I think the game would be easier to read with some clearer hierarchy of information (a different, less bold font for the body text would help readability for example). Right now, though there's contrast between some elements, I think even more contrast would be helpful!

I really like the resolution mechanic here :)! It seems like the game is a bit narrow in terms of focus, which I think is fine; maybe you could expand the game to be a broader western-style type of game in the future!

Oh, also, I was trying to figure out what would be problematic and so the only word that seemed like it might be was statuesque, which I just found out has other connotations than "looking like a statue." I'll change that to statue-like.

That makes sense; I just had the vision of cenobites in my mind when thinking about the angels so decided that's something they could look like :). Regarding safety tools, I suppose I could try to include actual safety tools, but I don't feel qualified to come up with my own, and to not do them a disservice would probably take up a whole page at least, so I decided to defer to people who actually know what they're doing, and I assume people can find the right stuff.

The scenario you set up sounds great from a 'running the game' perspective; you provide the right amount of pertinent info in that regard! The one thing I'd see if I could squeeze in is what game system the module is for (OSR I would guess but am not involved in that scene so I don't know), though I suspect the people who know, know. Cool module :-]!

I really like the idea of playing as particular archetypes / trope-y characters, and each gives a lot of info very concisely! I also like that there's a lot here for running the game. Good stuff!
