I really like the Hope, Hell, and Weird spread of results! The actual history of chain gangs is really rough but it seems this game is going more for the cinematic portrayal and I think it captures that well.
Love the lower/higher dice mechanic — been thinking about maybe using one recently and this is a great, condensed example of how it's best put to use and colored with some setting flavor. Trying to think of some kind of house rule to link players' actions to each other, since they're on a chain gang and all. That was the notion that drew me to check it out, but the rest made me stay to comment :)
That flavor is also excellent. Love all of the complications on the GM side. I definitely want to see more content in this setting!
This submission is very interesting, because focusing mainly on the story and strong replayability, which I personally like very much, at the same time adds a very simple, but engaging mechanic of dice rolls, I especially like the "weird" mechanic when is a tie on dices.
I'm feeling this one. I love me some weird west and your system is unique and seems fun. Only complaint I have is the format of the document itself--specifically that table at the bottom of the first page. I know we're cramped for space but consider using columns or something because the lack of space between the two sides of that table definitely made it a nightmare to read through there. The idea is fantastic and I definitely think this could be something special.
I'm not even close to being a graphic designer. What I do is compare my layout to the layouts of similar games--in a one page or two page I look to Lasers and Feelings primarily but any ttrpg could work--and ask myself if it flows or looks at least comparably to that game. If not, I try to fix the issues keeping it from looking right. Like, alternating the fill color on each row of a table or adding a column to separate them then removing the lines for a smoother look, etc.
This is fantastic. It's chock-full of great ideas set in an interesting setting. I dig the O, Brother Where Art Thou/Labor Movement vibe. The situations seem fun and flavorful and the mechanics seem solid enough.
Although the layout is a little unclear, the ideas in this are up there with my favorite 1-2 page RPGs. Awesome stuff overall.
Thanks! When making it, I figured that with 2 pages I should really strongly focus on one thing. So I focused on the style and setting, and everything else was built to fit into that, and add to it.

If you think it's bad now, you should have seen the first draft!
But in all seriousness, thanks for the feedback. I'm not exactly a graphic designer.
