Golems are awesome!

Wow this is amazing! The music really helped with the engagement. Took a little bit to get used to the gameplay but after that it was hella fun! Might be helpful to have a tutorial/intro level to help the player get used to how the game works :)

The game looks really good, I especially like the lighting!

I think I fixed the pace of the game, it should feel faster at the beginning now!

Yep, before I toned down the difficulty the game was virtually impossible to beat as the later waves send so many enemies at you that you're forced to mix in several rocket launchers or axes to even survive until the end. But looking at it after submitting the difficulty got toned down too much and it almost felt boring to play xD.

It's definitely really difficult to come up with a perfect balance, and it's something I'll definitely try to remember for future jams!

Yep, I found out that it was too slow a bit too late into it xD
I'm gonna link a more difficult version soon, and then update the download link when possible!

Looks pretty awesome, but it feels like it needs a bit more tweaking/playtesting, especially since you can beat it without firing a single bullet! For your first game though, this is definitely pretty well done, good job!

Yep, the houses moving the mailman is 100% intended. I don't think it breaks that first rule since you aren't in direct control of the mailman, and the only way of moving them around is via pushing them with the houses.

I also intended to imply that there are aliens outside of the screen borders, which is why if the mailman can no  longer be seen by the player, they get abducted. This is more apparent when the dogs drag you offscreen.

I don't know how much more I'll work on this idea, but thank you for your feedback!
