This is great fun, I've played through a few times already! The designs for everything are great but I especially like how the scrolling background all comes together. Controls felt great and I would happily play through more waves. I think I saw you at the festival today and was going to come say hi and chat about your game, but I'm a bit too awkward because I wasn't certain 😅

Interesting twist on the genre! I'm not sure if anyone else played Guitar Geek back in the day but this is giving me flashbacks. I originally thought it was ridiculously hard because I was trying to swat the fly as soon as the exclamation mark came up though! Once I realised I could wait for the slow motion I started to make some real progress.  You've made me want to try my hand at a rhythm game at some point 😄

This was a lot of fun! I'd still like to speed up the pace a little bit as I think some may have already mentioned, there can be a fair gap between missing and resetting for your next attempt but otherwise no complaints! This would make a really good port to mobile devices too.

I really enjoy the controls for this, it does feel like you're trying to control something quite heavy. Almost has vibes similar to Getting Over it. Perfect level of difficulty.

Great funky music and nice art! I'm not sure if the click on a person going through to the person behind is an intended mechanic or bug but it worked for me in the sense that you're just trying to capture the lizard people on their own! Fun twist on the theme

Thanks! Unfortunately I ran out of the time to implement the auto ejection but I did get a reset added for the last set of puzzles which most people found the hardest.

I've always found it important to give credit where it's due to the asset creators because after all, I wouldn't have been able to make this without them. I'm pretty awful at the things they're great at!

Thank you very much! I always have difficulty in sticking with a project and never finish anything, so I forced myself to finish on time by joining the jam and have really enjoyed the whole process. I will admit the voices used are AI generated but they came out very well and had I started with audio earlier in the week I would've rather used some real voices!

Thank you very much for this response.  I did originally intend to use actors from fiverr (and even briefly considered Norman Lovett after realising he was on Cameo) but didn't want to risk the clips not being ready in time when I only had a couple of days left at that point. If I were to further develop the project then I'd certainly replace the voices, although I think the generated ones did a good enough job at representing what I wanted. I definitely should have included arrow keys as an alternative for movement and it's something I'll try to remember for next time. Thanks for playing!
