Hello!
I'm a programmer and (very) inexperienced artist and I've been working on my debut commercial game in Godot. I already have a composer and character artist on board, but environment and level art is the piece that I'm missing. The game is a 2D metroidvania with hand drawn art and animations. The biggest inspo for the art style so far has been games like Absolum or Hades. That cell-shaded, inked, black shading is what I'm really looking for. I've just been barraged with bots when I seek out on talent on socials, and someone suggested this board.
The game isn't revealed yet, so I'm being sparse with details, but I'm happy to chat through more details individually. I pay all my contractors and credit them by the name of their choosing in the game credits. I have an inspo board and full brief I can share with anyone interested.
