Very fun and well-done! Telling the "next chapter" of F.A.N.G. is very cool and makes this feel like a must-play after a few sessions of EtR. Love the use of the Cryptids and how they are used on both sides of the war. Reminds me a bit of the FABLES comic series. Mechanically, I like the DEFCON idea and how it is affected by the use of abilities - definitely raises stakes on "going in loud" - very clever.
Bonus points for a slick layout and amazing art that captures the style so well. That map is amazing too.

Wow! This is really good work.
In no particular order here are some things I love:- Ambitions - I love mechanics that encourage roleplay moments. You have some clever ones here.
- Adversary Traits - a very cool way to build-your-own monsters.
- Memories - YES. (see Ambitions thoughts above)
- Just the whole vibe.
You've clearly spent a good amount of time working on this and it really shows. Bravo! I want to play.
Cool concept! I like the twist ending as well - I wonder how long you envision these "campaigns" to last? 4-8 sessions? More or less? Just something I found myself thinking about while reading.
Also, I like the idea of Speedrunning. I wonder if there could be some mechanic to make a "New Choice" each time you speed run a scene you've already accomplished. Something like, "I'd like to focus on saving the Corporal this time instead of pursuing the fleeing bug" and then maybe succeeding on that roll gains them an "Altered Ally/Item" (essentially a new perk that acts similar to Loot in EtR).
Hope to see more from this concept - great job!
Thank you! Overdrive is an idea I lifted from the Household /Outgunned systems by Two Little Mice (I was heavily influenced by their use of Conditions as well).
Mutations I still need to figure out. I know I want them affect the Agent in both negative and positive ways but I'm torn on how often you should get them. If you are getting a Mutation every time you hit your 5th T.R.E.A.T. box, then you will have your max Conditions in no time and that kind of defeats the purpose. So I think it needs to be more of a roll to see IF you get a Mutation. We'll see.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for taking the time to look through it!
I definitely want to find ways to incorporate the human Companions of each character more throughout the game. It was tricky keeping the backstories to a minimum to fit on the page but then also give enough to have you care about the Companion. My thought is that maybe the Companions can be peppered throughout the Locations and you are saving 2 at a time. I just don't know if that cuts off the finale since your main objective would already be complete. Open to suggestions.
I agree, we need more of the "Cuddle Humans" in there. Maybe some adjustments mentioned above can help with that? And/or maybe I add a blanket rule about saving/cuddling humans that grants T.R.E.A.T.s?
Appreciate the feedback!
