I did a five-part breakdown of a single mission I ran solo (written up specifically to help people who might want to try it out and need a solid example of play), and this is the map I used. Wouldn't have been able to manage without it.

For those who might find this later, this series ran to a full 5 posts: the one linked above is character creation and mission generation.
Part 2 is crunching the numbers and plotting the route
Part 3 is Year 1 of the mission, step by step
Part 4 is Years 2 -4 and mission completion
Part 5 is the wrapup.
If you've ever thought of trying to play 60 Years, solo or otherwise, I lay out all the I used steps (with page numbers if I can find them) to make it easier for others.
I'm gobsmacked by the amount of effort that went into this (and the amount of material), but I'm lost on how the process of actually playing the game is supposed to go. Pg 16 of the corebook talks about exploiting resources and setting up factories but trails off after introducing the idea and later references don't clear up much. How are missions decided? What are the steps of going there-and-back-again? Does it require the High Frontier boardgame or can that be worked around?
All of this is probably in the books, but the way my brain works I work a lot better with a bullet list in one place.
