Sorry. I described it in detail on the Itch.io page. If you download it directly from the Jam website, you don’t see the hint. That’s a bit of a silly design.

The art style itself is quite nice, but the bloom effect ruins it, and the level design is very difficult to read. The controls are a bit clunky, but at least it’s one of the few games where the jump height isn’t fixed, even if a bit more control would be better.

I found two upgrades. Including the one you mentioned, but I don’t know what counts as shields.

I really enjoyed the game. It totally reminds me of Alice: Madness Returns. I liked it a lot.

The idea is very interesting. Only the level design needs improvement. It’s easy to softlock.

A very appealing and creative game. Pleasant difficulty level and pace. The fact that you can walk on the roofs wasn’t clear, and the transitions between the other levels don’t look very good. The punching bags are helpful, but the whole mana system seems unnecessary to me.

I felt a bit lost when I ran around in circles twice. The waterfalls as a one-way system are an interesting concept. As a platformer, it’s quite solid.

Very atmospheric pixel graphics. Some sections are a bit difficult. The beam seems somewhat redundant to me compared to the normal shot. I can’t progress past the point where the mushroom shoots at me from above.

I’m really not into card games. And without a tutorial, it was more like clicking around aimlessly. The graphics are very nice, though, and I liked the music too.

Very atmospheric. The platform layout is pleasant. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even get through the large door. I didn’t understand what the upgrades did.

Nice game, lovely artwork. Unfortunately, it’s a bit buggy. It’s very easy to clip into walls with the dash, and I had to restart the game because I was soft-locked.

I’ve now set the game to public.

thanks for the feedback. After 10km you reach the next level. The first Level is only for learning the controls and get a feeling. So maybe you give it a secound try and experiment how to maxout hight and speed.

Thank you so much for this phenomenally detailed feedback. It’s a real incentive to keep working on it. The key you mentioned would have been an alternative route to the priestess. Some of the things you’re rightfully missing, like a quest log, inventory, or a map navigation feature, or even a continuation of the ship scene, are unfortunately all things that have been cut for the jam. The transformation scene tooked me almost a whole week alone in a 4 weeks jam, whatever had gotten into me. But I’m still motivated and happily working on the game once the voting period is over.

What?! All models in the game were lovingly 🥰 handcrafted by me just for this jam. Its a cozy waifu game. Not Porn, how rude 😥^^

The Game has an option to change the language. It should choose english as default but wasn’t. The new version should fix it. And just dont mess with the camer aclipping.

zuerstmal der Zoom. jedes mal wenn ich ausholen wollte, führte der Zoom dazu, dass ich verzogen hab. Das Ausholen empfand ich auch als sehr eigenwillig und zu empfindlich für die kurzen Strecke. Ein mangelnder Vollbildmodus tat da den Rest. Dann war der Ball deutlich mehr sticky, als ich es erhofft hatte. Und zuletzt finde ich, dass zwei Schläge fürs erste Level deutlich zu wenig sind.

Sehr minimalistisch und Interessante Interpretation. Könnte mehr Abwechslung vertragen.

Spiel lässt sich bei mir nicht starten. “Index out of bounds”

Nette Idee, aber grauenhafte Steuerung. Ich kam leider nicht übers erste Level hinaus.

Solides Gameplay. Die verschiedenen Fähigkeiten der einzelnen Kreaturen fand ich besonders gut. Ich hab zuerst gar nicht gerafft warum ich nach 2sek ein anderen Char hatte. Insgesamt gut gelungen.

Tolle Idee und netter Look, aber die Steuerung ist einfach Unberechenbar und das Movement sehr Chaotisch. Die Grafik gefällt mir sehr, nur das Menü im Titelbild musste ich mit der Lupe suchen

Coole Umsetzung vom Thema. Ich war zuerst verwirrt was ich mit den Zahlen machen soll und es hat einige Versuche gebraucht bis ich den Knopf zum Feuern gefunden hab.

thanks. as longe as you dont die, or getting over lapped, its always possible to beat the game. Its just take longer with less skill.

yeah. leaderboard was unfortunally not possible in the scope. Perhaps this feature will be added later, because I’m technically interested in what else can be done online. For now, you have to compete with the developers’ time (00:39:58) without boosters.

thanks a lot. Drifting is a tricky thing. I have no clue how drifting works in RL. How it works in the game is if you reach max steering the drift amount raises up, speed helps. You can increase it initially by tipping the handbrake (space). If you are too slow or too fast during drifting, the effect is lowered. best at ca. 200km/h.

Das freut uns. Dass es nur ein Level gibt, ist einfach der Zeit geschuldet. Der Bobo-Mode ändert absolut nichts am Gameplay. Nur die Grafiken der eigenen Einheiten und einige Nachichten Texte im Level. Ich gebe aber zu, dass das Tutorial schon recht schwer ist, weil in letzter minute was an der KI geändert wurde, und das Tutorial nicht nochmal gebalanced wurde

The font bug should be fixed now.
