Also on the topic of ideas, some roguelike item icons could be cool as well, seeing as these packs will probably be used to make a lot of roguelikes and icons wont require animation :)

Keep up the good work, these asset packs are probably my favourite on the site, I haven't bought any of these packs yet but I'm saving up to get a bunch of them. Also if you want some ideas, some large boss sprites could be quite cool e.g. a large insect boss or something :)

Hey, aren't some of these sprites just recolours of weapons from this pack https://0x72.itch.io/dungeontileset-ii. I know the original pack is CC-0 but I think you should at least credit 0x72 or upload this as CC-0.

Thanks for sharing. Its a really nice improvement compared to the random walker method a lot of programs use

I just realised I forgot to mention it here, but I used this for a game jam a couple of months ago. I really love the style, thanks for making it!

Thanks for playing!

Really well made game and unique take on the theme! Good job :D

Thanks for all of the feedback, I really appreciate it. I totally agree with you about the jump in the tutorial, it is unnecessarily difficult for no reason, I found myself struggling with it when I was testing the game. I think changing the colour of the interactables is also a good idea. One of the major problems was that I didn't have enough time to make levels teaching the player about the game mechanics so the harder levels can seem a bit unfair and throw you in at the deep end. And thanks again for all the feedback I will keep it in mind when I update the game :D

I'm so happy you enjoyed it :D

Really fun little game, and even more impressive that you made it with a custom engine in python (I couldn't even get my head around pygame). There is one small bug that causes the framerate to massively drop and its not when I am using the slowdown ability, but that isn't really a big problem. Overall I really enjoyed it :D

I'm so happy that you found it fun! Thanks for pointing out the placement of the restart button, I'll change that when I next update the game :D

I don't usually play many point and click games but I'm really glad I gave this a try! The setting is really cool and the shooting minigames are a nice addition. I'm quite busy at the moment so haven't been able to fully finish it but it is clear there is a lot of content as well. Overall its a really impressive game :D

Really fun, well polished and has super juicy sound effects. One small bug I noticed is that ammo doesn't reset between games but other that that everything worked well :D

Fun little game and really cool idea. I found it cool that sometimes there weren't enough rocks to destroy all the ships so you have to push some of the ships back while you wait for more rocks, good job! Also I invite you to play my game it you have the time :D

Really nice little game. Its nicely polished and has some really nice sound effects :D

Really enjoyable and addicting game! It enjoyed the difficulty spike right at the end. Also it was a nice touch adding the accuracy at the end, I only got 30% so now I want to go back and improve :D

Glad you enjoyed it :D and thanks for the feedback. I really like your idea of resuming the order from the end and I will look into that if I update the game further, as for new mechanics I might add different aliens with different abilities so I can make more in depth puzzles

Just finished all 3 bosses and really enjoyed it. I think this might be the best use of the exchange theme I have seen so far with both weapons being exchanged and the stocks mechanic. The game felt really well polished and the voice acting was a nice touch. I did find the second boss a lot harder than the third due to the ends of the tentacles being harder hit but that wasn't really a problem. Overall the game was really enjoyable :D

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D. A lot of people found the controls a bit strange and I think the problem was because I played it so much developing it I got used to them and didn't realise how weird they were. I'll give your game a try right now!

Just finished the game, it was pretty hard and I got stuck on the final litch boss for a while but was delighted when he died of rabies! I loved the unique game idea and the book swapping idea was cool as well. It could do with a bit more polish but overall it was a really nice game! Also I invite you to give my game a try if you would like :D

The bosses were really well made and felt challenging but fair, the combat was really fun and the game in general worked really well with no bugs. The art and music were also well made. Overall a really nice game!

Sorry about that, I made a mistake with my full screen code so that it doesn’t work on some monitors, I will update the game page with it patched once the jam is over but unfortunately I don’t think I can change the file during the jam.

Amazing game! The bosses are all really well designed and the rogue like aspect added a lot of replayability. I was also surprised by how many bosses you managed to add and the music fits the game very nicely. I don't think I can even think of anything negative to about the game, it was well polished and I didn't find any bugs. Good Job :

I was really impressed by how much depth each boss had, once I though I learnt their attacks they would introduce new ones. Great game :D

Really enjoyed the game, its was so fun I played it a couple of times to try out all of the weapons. Also the concept of an axe that doubles as a gun is really cool. Good job :D

Glad you enjoyed it :D

Insanely fun!

This is by far the most polished game I have played so far. The art is really cool, especially the bosses, the music and sound compliments it really well. Overall its a great game!

Really sorry about that, its the first game I've ever exported and I should definitely should have done some more testing on other devices. It seems the problem is that there is an error scaling to full screen on certain monitors.

Just finished the game, the third boss was my favourite because of the way it forced me to change my strategy mid fight. At first i used a pillar to block the attacks but then the explosions forced me to keep moving for the rest of the fight. I loved the art style and music as well. If I had any advice it would be to maybe give the second boss an attack to punish the player for just running in circles. Overall it was really fun to play, well done!

That's odd, are you on windows?

Also if anyone else gets round to playing this I would appreciate it if you could let me know whether the exe work or not.

Hey guys, this was my first ever game jam and also first ever finished project. I would love to know what you guys think so if anyone plays it feel free to leave some feedback.
