Yeah, and I had it happen again just now—the third time so far. I've been playing for a month or two and every now and then when the game starts it spawns a map with just the dungeon entrance and no way to get to any other rooms (since I don't have a dynamite bomb), even when I can tell there's another room there (e.g., looks like there's probably a library [?] just north next to the player token from the carpet color under the wall tile). Randomly-generated maps are great (seriously! I'm really loving this game!!) except for when they're not!

This was another fun one (I didn't have a dynamite bomb at the time, so I never found out what was in that locked room...the level spawned just like this with no key in sight 馃槄)

Well, there go all my achievements as I reload again... 馃槥

What a fun/cute game! I played it through twice just two see the two different possible endings and both versions were satisfying. Though I just had to open all the chests each time to see if maybe there was a special item in one!

I will say that both times when I try to go into Sakura's room at the very end it bugs out and freezes. Alas!

Thanks for several hours of entertainment :D

Gosh, that was really tough at the start! I got in the habit of saving every few feet (and after every battle... and after every chest) after the first TPK, but once I had a better idea of what to expect, it was a lot easier going. Aside from that, it wasn't entirely clear I had to go through the cave system and mostly just ended up there since I couldn't do/go anywhere else. Once I got to Alstair, I had the problem that I couldn't determine what to do next—I didn't even find Gatrick until after I'd gone back in the cave and talked to Carlotta! And even then I didn't notice him until the 3rd or 4th time I entered his house(?)—his sprite really blends into the map, especially since only the back of his head was showing.

The information about different weapons having different features and different enemies having different weaknesses was a fun hint to how the combat works. It would have been nice if that was taken a step further and inspecting books and/or bookshelves provided additional information on enemy weaknesses. I'm not enough of a grinder to come at it scientifically and analyze each fight to figure out the ideal weapon for Carlotta.

All in all, a very fun game—interesting worldbuilding, exciting maps to explore, plenty of chests to loot... Definitely an hour and half of my time well-spent! Can't wait to see where you go with it next. :)

Fun little demo! Unfortunate that it can't really be played after the first town, since every time I try to access the menu it crashes because it can't find Prudentia's face. :\

Ah, never mind. I decided to stop by the frost temple on my way back to the village and I appear to have finally triggered the battle I previously missed. Oops! Welp, maybe I'll get that mithril now... 馃槄

Oh boy but this is an exciting and rich game! I just started playing yesterday (and lost pretty much the entire day to it) and I'm absolutely having a blast—to the point that I finally made an itch account in order to comment!

The one thing I'm wondering is [SPOILERS] whether you're supposed to battle the frost spirit and the game glitched on me so I didn't (when I went to leave the chief's home to do that, suddenly I was coming back in again, a certain scammy visitor was there, and everyone acted as if a battle had happened), or it's supposed to be that way. Just got the special knife and am on my way back to the other village, but the boss battles in the ruins of Sirasui were extremely difficult (had to do the one after the tower with only 2 party members because 3 went down during the final tower battle and I only had one Unicorn Tears), which leaves me wondering if I should have mithril weapons for more party members and not just have 3 mysterious orbs with no way to get the mithril out.

Thanks and again, the game has been AMAZING—I love all the lore, the character backgrounds, the constant questioning of what defines a "monster" and why that is... Absolutely brilliant, I can tell you really put your heart and soul into creating something beautiful.
