I had a go and the mini didn't show the file, even though I had put it into the folder. I did a bit of looking around and it looks like you have to hack the mini to make it run hdf, and I don't quite feel like taking the risk. 

Will it work on the A500mini? I think that accepts hdf, I don't know about hda.

Please can you release it in adf as it makes it much easier for A500mini owners like myself to play? 

Rather than a black and white QR code that should appear I get a purple square with a few small blue squares on it

This is great news. Adventure games are a big part of the C64 (and Amiga), but we don't get many new ones compared to all the platformers, shoot 'em ups and puzzle games. 

Any chance of an adf version for us A500 mini owners?

Or you could do an adf version, that will work on the mini without any fuss

whdload won't work on the mini unless you include the code for us to put in the start of the xml file. Turrican 2 AGA, Maria Renard's Revenge, Creeping Me Out and Castlevania AGA have all done this.

It still crashes a few seconds into the first boss fight. It goes to a grey screen with 'Holy Warrior failed returncode 20' at the bottom of the screen

It does for the most part, so you can play level one on the mini. But a few seconds into the boss fight it crashes and the JIT doesn't stop that.

Does the HDD or CD32 version work on the mini? I'd like to have the lovely music when I play this.

I think you need to select the JIT option on theA500mini otherwise you get lots of crashes when moving between screens.

Hi I will give it a go and will pop you a few GBP if it works. I think that the issue is with new games, which don't have an entry in the WHDbooter xml file. When the mini can't find the entry the game fails to load even if there is nothing wrong with it. Some recent games like Maria Renards Revenge and the Turrican 2 AGA remake had the extra bits to add to the xml file on the itch.io page.  ADF files don't have this issue, they usually just work.  

Will these games work on the mini? I'd like to play them but I have found that getting .lha files for new games to work on the mini is a bit tricky.
