I really like how you used Heartswood in this. Along with the very strong stylings, this was a joy to read.

Great looks and seems like it'd be a blast to play. I will say, I felt the need to 'dock' you a couple 'points' for using an outside system, felt a little outside this jam. Otherwise, absolutely tremendous work!

This is a really cool idea, and the map sells it very well. Good work

This is primo, one of the games from this jam I'll be holding on to to play sometime.

Thanks!

Thank you. You're right though, I must admit to have been thinking more about how evocative the stats were than whether they functioned. I'd change them if I ever make a revised version.

Thanks! I must admit I hadn't fully thought it out. You are right, it counting down doesn't make much sense. I think the simplest explanation of it is that you go from being broken but still something, to being broken into nothing. Looking back, I would've used a word more like 'falling apart,' "decaying" maybe? Broken is very evocative though, and I couldn't find a similar word with the same power.

Very well, you are a scoundrel and a radical, and I thank you anyway

Thank you, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

Missed the submission window probably because of mixing up my timezones, thought I had until tomorrow morning. Holy shit my life is a farce. Anyway, just so I can show it off: https://thehousealwaysfalls.itch.io/unfinished-hearts
