Sorry to say I genuinely really don't know what's going on, then. It seems to be a rather unique issue and while I'm sure at least one other person must also be experiencing this, it seems to be incredibly uncommon.

Strange! I've double-checked it and everything is in order. It should be showing up and working just fine. Maybe it's a platform issue? The game is primarily made with Windows in mind.

When you see Prestige, it says it gives x1%. This sounds horrendous, so I wrote it off as being a placeholder. Nonetheless, I pretty much "beat" the current content so I gave it a go. Imagine my surprise when it's not x1%, but x1. The percentage symbol is very misleading. I had no idea prestiging would put my gains from x1 -> x2, I thought it was only giving me x1%, like... x1.01, not x2.

I prestiged and got it again. I'm on Zone 3 with 3 separate buffs. It shows +1%. Maybe in the display it's rounding up?

I don't think so. It was my third buff in total, feels like it just gave nothing at all, either that or it is giving the additional +1% but it's not showing it.

For what it's worth, other buffs seem to be showing up and stacking just fine. It's just that one specific buff.

Just happened to be checking the page and saw your reply! This is a known issue with games made with the Godot engine. The issue isn't that malware is being included, it's that sometimes it's springing a false positive when downloaded through direct sources. Downloaded through Steam, you won't get this problem. Hey everyone. I'm going to make a dev log post about this as well, but if your game has been displaying weird or crashing and you have an AMD GPU, the latest driver as of today fixes it.

Driver version 25.9.2

It's possible to buy upgrades you can't afford by clicking and swapping cars via left/right arrow keys. I was able to max out a stat on a car by doing this and ended up over 7m in debt.

Full release is expected sometime in March. Save files will transfer over.

You can turn them off if you find they're not to your liking. I don't have a great way to adjust them elsewise though, that's true.

Thanks for letting me know. I suspect the downloadable / steam playtest versions are more stable. I've heard of a few people have troubles with the browser version at the moment.

First, the bug with ascension I actually just fixed 10 minutes ago. If you update, you'll be good. Sorry about that.

For STR, interestingly enough, some people have made builds that use no STR at all and they completely decimate enemies. It's great to hear varying opinions on this matter. That means it's decently balanced, in my opinion.

For pickups, I know what you mean. Their hitbox for clicking is REALLY big to compensate for this. It extends well beyond their actual sprite, about 4x as far out, actually. You can also set the camera to follow your summon in Summons -> Settings -> Camera Follow Summon, which could possibly be used to look more around the map.

Navigate to here:

Put the save files in there. If that folder doesn't exist, run the Desktop version at least once.

There should be a button in Settings -> Saving for exporting save files from the Web version. It essentially downloads your save files. There's 2 export buttons and depending on your browser, you may need to click both to get all of your save files.

You can't move onto Peridot Coast as that's currently unavailable on the free version of the game. You're pretty much at the end of the content.

Officially, I'm not supporting Mac as I do not own an Apple device to properly export it on, so unfortunately it will not be compatible on Steam.

I do plan to offer it on itch, so it's good to hear it works on MacOS here. I didn't know that!

It should say if you hover over materials in the Equipment / Inventory screen. Hovering over Tier 1 Gems should say it drops from all enemies in Areas 1 and 2. It's a lower chance than other materials, but all enemies can drop it.

Last night I accidentally introduced a bug that made it so you didn't get new events in Areas 2 and 3. I just hotfixed it now. If you only started playing a few hours ago, you were probably on the bugged version. Sorry about that.
