gambling simulator (in a good way)

just wish it wasn't ai

One of my favorites! I think you found the perfect balance in terms of how many levels there are, though I think the first levels could be slightly harder (Level Jetpack-1 is a breeze)

Fun game- a few things I'd improve:

  • don't have 1-tile size mortars, it's really annoying to have to shoot down every last tile (Battleship's smallest ship is 2-tiles)
  • the game doesn't fit the prerequistie

Otherwise, a nice game with cool graphics.

one of my favorites so far, the use of the prerequisite is great.

one small thing: available not avilable

Thanks for catching that, lol, I'll fix that when the jam ends.

Try spamming on him, as long as you get there with enough HP to survive the minions (and kill the few more) it should be fine

I love the graphics of this game.

I do wish there was more variation in the enemies or level design, i.e. an empty field or a different kind of field, or perhaps inside a barn, though I get time can be an issue.

The idea is cool and I've never played a rail-shooter before so this is novel experience for me.

However, it doesn't really fit the prerequisite of three buttons only.

Ok, thanks, and yes I understand the code so hopefully I'm good

Yes, I would use it for a camera-related issue I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere else online

I see the rule "no AI-generated content", but is it alright to ask AI for a specific script to do something specific I can't find anywhere with google? Not sure if content here means Art/Sound/The Whole Game or just one line of code, etc.

Wdym?

When other people submit theirs, it’ll get put further down in Random order… literally does nothing, and you’re not “speedrunning” anything…

Just makes me not really like you…

Not sure- however, it happened again, this time when I was walking from the bedroom to the door after the first ding dong. I was holding left arrow button, then the character stopped moving and this page just appeared.

Maybe I am reloading the website somehow? I don't think I am

I played, and when I got to the nap scene it crashed... is that normal?

Which game was it?

I didn't finish my game in time. Here's a place to share your unfinished project.

I'll start. My idea was a game where you use cards of a deck to summon demon units to defend your casino. Spades would be swordsmen, Hearts healers, Clubs club men (more DMG, less Health) and Diamonds weaker Spades except you got "Chips" (money) from each attack. It was made with Pico-8. I'll try and continue it!

Now, you! What's your game, and will you continue with it?

Beautiful characters! I was wondering if the Minifolks Complete asset pack updates with new additions? Or do you have to pay more for upcoming characters?

ITCH.IO automatically translates it to your local time I believe. At least, it does for me.

Same lol

ggs

:( im really busy im just starting level design with uncomplete/no game loop

I hope so, I'm also under 18

One more thing: what is this font?

Thank you so much for these assets! I'm going to use them in a jam game, want updates? The theme is "trick the player". Anyways, as I was saying, awesome models! I love this kind of style (though never knew it was called psx).

Will credit obvi!

Obviously! These are amazing assets. I think everyone should be credited, especially for such amazing work.

I can't see it.

Can I please be told the theme?

Hello! I'm TheFogDemon. I'm curious- what are the voting criteria for the game jam? (i.e. "Theme", "Creativity", "Gameplay", "Audio")?

No problem! My game is still in the works and probably won't be done for some months, so no need to rush. Thanks!

Thanks!

I would like to use Slinger Swagger for towns & houses,/title theme, Fetlocks in the Wind (my favorite) as the main theme and Whiskey Barn Dance for stores.

I 100% understand if you're busy/the conversion is impossible. Thank you so much!

Hey! Thanks for this amazing music pack. I'm using Pico 8 and it has its own built-in music builder without much room for other music. I really like this music but it's hard to turn it into a Pico 8 tune.

Would it be possible to have a MIDI file as there is another tool called Denote that can transform MIDI files into files compatible with Pico 8. I'm not really sure what the difference between, say, a .ogg, .wav., .mp3, and midi file is so if no I totally understand.

I have tried a converter but they don't export good renditions of any music, and combined with the light tampering Denote does I end up with something immensely different (and worse) from your astonishing original works.

I am a music noob and plan to use the music for my Wild West + Oregon Trail + Apocalypse game, titled [REDACTED].

Unfortunately, I cannot offer compensation so I understand if it's not worth your time, however as with all other contributors to my game, you will be included in the game credits and linked to in the end of the description of the game.

Thank you, if not for aiding me, for aiding dozens of other developers seeking to make Wild West/Adventure games!

So cute!!!

I don't use Discord as a matter of principle, but find the idea of this jam very fun! Is there any other way to sign up?

I get it if you there isn't any workaround.

Oh, didn't know, sorry! I've never participated in an un-ranked jam.

When the submissions come to a close, and (I'm assuming) we vote for the best game, what will the ratings be (i.e. Music/SFX, Theme, Art, Fun, Creativity, Enjoyment, Time Limit, Gameplay)?

Fun game. I do wish there was some "Hard Mode" with 6 wires or something because it's a bit easy and when you get it you really want more (guess that's the problem with a 20 second game jam, lol). Hope you add more in the future!

What about the same level, but randomized / with progression of the enemies, traps, etc.? (The level must be beaten in 20 seconds)

“Que”, as in the French word for what?

Or “queue”, as in a line of people?

Yeah, game style is original but very pretty!

Used this in a Jam game! https://thefogdemon.itch.io/slimescale

Credited it in the description and when I update it and have time to add a proper ending I'll add credits there too.
