I found that I can do it after I respawn, if i move very quickly. 

You could try to prevent the player from moving for 1s after respawn.

Hi.

I'm looking for a 2d artist for a gameJam (Devtober game jam).  The game will be a simple platformer, nothing crazy as I'm not a very skillful developer. The game jam lasts 1 month, so there wouldn't be any cramming.

I pressed Z, then after the Text has scrolled the screen remains black

the game is very buggy  and repetetive

There isn't much to rate...  I basically gave you 1 star for everything but Theme,Creativity and Accessible. In Accessible I gave you 3 stars, in theme 2 and so in creativity.

I like what you did at the beginning of the game the small animation with the voice-over ... but apart from that? There is not much. I collected all the leaves but then ? Nothing happens.

The game is actually fun, but there is one major flaw: it's impossible. It's possible to guard a single tree, but since the others are out of range it's impossible to know what's happening to them. One suggestion i could make is  either you allow the player to see more or you put indicators on the side. In this way the player will know a tree is under attack.

The game overall is enjoyable :)

It's not really a game.

But anyway, apart from that there are different problematics:

1- There is no music!

2- The camera is too magnified, i cant see much.

3- You say there is procedural generation, but out of the spawn area there are no flowers, lakes or trees.

I think this could be a good base for something more complex, but at this state doesn't feel like much.

I click on "new adventure" but it doesnt work

Not exactly a game, but it is very cool

The game is really cool although i would consider the introduction of checkpoints. Or at least, if you dont want to introduce checkpoints,  don't reset the wood  already collected!

Why should one pay 1 dollar to play: 

-a game of a person with no experience whatsoever in game development ( as you stated, it's your first game ever)

-a game made for a game jam, which hasn't taken more than 2 weeks at best to be made ( but since you submitted it 14 days ago, it didn't even take you 1 day)

-a game with no desc, no images, no videos.

?

But the worst part is that you have completly missed the point of a game jam. Here we share opinions about each other games, we dont sell games! It seems you are greedy and desperate to get your hands on a bunch of dollars.

The game is original and is a good idea , but it's laggy and there is no music.

There is the music , did you make sure that your volume was on?

I don't get what it has to do  with the theme and also why is it written  in russian?

The game is fairly good  but i can't understand how this can fit the theme.
