As the GM, I can see why the two are designed the way they are, but the players struggle to see/understand the utility at a first glance. Since I haven't seen them in action I dunno how powerful they really are, but I think a good comparison is the Stop spell. It costs 10 MP and stops an enemy for a solid turn if it hits. Assuming an enemy removes this effect immediately (which a GM shouldn't do, I know, but players struggle to know that), that's wasted one of their turns, for double the MP cost. In a game where most fights last 4-5 rounds, that's important to think about when designing spells.

So far I've only seen two classes in action, that being Hexer and Slayer. Hexer's been a great sidegrade to other magic casters so far, their favorite spells is Symptom Shift. Really opens up "weird support" options, it's lovely! One thing I will say is no one is interested in Muddle and Blind. Aside from it being expensive, it looks too easy to get rid of when other spells are harder to remove, and *seem* to accomplish more. To give an idea, Fabula had a spell that provided a +2 bonus to defense against ranged attacks and nobody cared about it. While the check penalties are less situational, it's fragility as a curse made everyone disinterested, even with the use of the word "instead" you provide.

Slayer, meanwhile, is just a good martial pal so far. The player has been focusing on Bane Oils for that Witcher feeling. The ability to apply status effects while "cheating" the action economy always feels good. They also love Wildlife expert, a more specific and general use version of something like Flash of Insight for the martial hunters out there, very cool!

Loving this document. Haven't gotten to try out the Legacy system yet, but I love the concept. The classes have been working out so far, though, and everything else is aces.

This is a good supplement. The villainous ordeals/boss skills are particularly helpful. I also adore your threats. I'd appreciate any others you could come up with, but the two you have seriously give me some ideas and I appreciate that.

I'm running a game for my players now, and I was wondering if I could get clarification on food. Are players meant to eat food every "day", or only when picnicking and resting?

Oh this is lovely. Thank you so much. I cherish these collections of fan love with all my heart.

I know this is a long shot, but any chance of a "translation" of that curry recipe for real life? Don't need exact measurements (the "spoons" thing is so good and cute), and I can figure out hopper-femer is chicken, but I'm curious what path fruit, hopper-eyes and pulps paste could be.

I'll be running Perils and Princesses for a group soon! I wanted to make sure, monsters don't need to roll to hit, yes? They just roll damage?

Well I'll be damned, thanks!

I demand the secret abilities list this moment. OR ELSE. I will be sad.

This game is amazing! Though, the character sheet has Resilience, Defense and Inventory stuck at 0 for the form fillable sheet. Is there a reason for this?

I bought the Book! It's a GOOD BOOK.

Is there a place to give feedback or point out oddities? In the image on page 16 that gives an example dice roll looks odd in terms of math (1 + 6 + 2 = 9, right? Or am I misreading something?)

Oh, thank you! Yeah, that's what I was talking about. Thank you~

What's the "special price point" to get the exclusive something special?

Man, I got this game on Drivethru RPG. I wish it was more popular, it's such a cute, heartfelt game!

Thank you!

I've heard rumor that the rules for death and dying are in the magic chapter of all places. Is this true? If so, why? I admit issues like this are keeping me from instantly buying this right this moment.

So, I got this in a super bundle and I'm mega interested in this. I've read the playbooks over and I find the roleplay focused gameplay, something I'm  fairly unused to, to be quite interesting. I must also admit I find it a smidge confusing in a few ways and was hoping I could ask some questions.

First, there's the section that talks about the playbooks and the setting elements. The first says there's seven playbooks, then the next says there's four. I assume this is for each section, but it's not super clear.

Second, while I love the concept of the setting elements I'm a tad confused how Authorities, Masks, and Reversed are meant to interact, particularly Reversed becoming Masks. This seems to based on how the Shadows in p5 turn into demons/mythological figures, but some wording is confusing. For example, in the Setting Elements section it says they're the awakened inner feelings of people in The Reversal. And the Masks playbooks says they're 'your inner selves' to paraphrase. But then The Reversed have a move that lets them become masks? I don't entirely understand the intention with this wording, unless it's a reference to P4. In which case, the move list seems short for, say, the reversed version of an Authority figure. I do understand that the system and setting is supposed to be vague enough that, for example, the Authorities could have no reversed in the Reversal in any meaningful way (IE, not having palaces), but if you come from P5 to this it can feel a bit like reading another language due to it essentially having its own language for talking about this kind of game.

Finally, because I am used to dice rolling games like D&D, I'm used to there being a GM or Game Master. Is someone meant to play The Authority and The Masses other than those playing as Arcana characters?

There's also some typos here and there, I think. For example, under the 'lure' for the masses it says,  "Whenever makes a change in reality that affects the Reversal,  they gain a token." I believe there's a 'someone' missing there.

As a personal request, as someone who's never played a roleplay centered game like this and struggles to get their friends/players to roleplay, an 'example of play' document would be very useful. There's a lot I think I get, but a lack of examples makes it hard to totally wrap my head around and explain to others. Thank you so much for your time!
