No problem! I try to make my reviews honest and detailed :)

(1 edit)

This game is a masterpiece in visual design, and the analog blurry effects throughout were very impressive. I loved the ominous feel to everything I was doing, but that's where the problems arise. This game, while very stylish and very cool, lacks a bit of substance. Many things go unexplained, the premise of the game is a complete mystery to start with and I wasn't even sure what I was doing half of the time.  As for the theme: where was it? What part of this was living on the edge? We are a robot (I think) we aren't living at all. The gameplay also felt a bit rigid, but the great graphics really evened things out for me.  Overall quite a fun little art piece, definitely keep working on adding more code and this would be an excellent arena shooter.

This, in short, is an amazing game. I am astounded that you all managed to make this thing in a week, with the amount of little interactions and funny dialogue. The boss fights are very well designed, though some of the sound effects can BEE a little bit annoying when looped (you know what I'm trying to say here). The themes of Undertale are prevalent throughout with the unique aspects of RPG overworked mechanics, and the colourful and sometimes random characters.

I however do have one critique: I feel the theme of the Game Jam is a little phoned in.  While this is an undeniably great game (I would pay like $5.00 on Steam for this, seriously) it is a bit clear that the devs wanted to make a sequel first and then follow the theme later (the grandma saying life on the edge was a bit awkward for me). Still though, amazing work!!

This was some beautiful pixel art with a very nice explanation and surprisingly extensive grades, but I ran out of ammo really quickly and the game wasn't exactly clear on how to get more. I did play this one the most tho!!

same here we all worked overtime
