Super cool concept for a platform/puzzle game! I loved the timeline mechanic and the different mutations, got stuck after the third flying mutation level cause I couldn't figure out how to flip the turtle to the left, but I had a great time anyways! Fantastic job!

Lol the Punnett Square part was the hardest but the most fun to figure out. I'm planning on updating it with more visual feedback so the game is easier to figure out on first try since the initial confusion seems to be across the board. Thanks for playing and giving your feedback!

Aw no! I'm sorry the enemy stole that from you, that sneaky so-and-so! I will say I'm a person that looooves rng so this was a bit of an experiment with totally randomized enemy AI. I've had a couple of runs where I'll go like 60 rounds (one time 90 rounds) and then the enemy grabs it from under me, which I'm trying to figure out how to balance it better.  Thank you for playing and giving your feedback!

I played this in the discord when it was more like a puzzle level, I think you're really good at level design, design aesthetics and making things feel super satisfying! The aiming was a bit hard for me but I really enjoyed it overall, great job!

Thanks for playing and leaving your feedback! Yeah it's a bit tough to reverse engineer the punnett square to see how to get the golden turtle, also I realized too late I mixed up the elemental elements for gold and silver so I'm sure that threw people off as well lol

Really cool horror concept with the house being the "enemy" so to speak, too many games in this genre just kinda throw a guy in there as a jumpscare. You did really well with the atmosphere and I'd play more games like this one with the same graphics (I'm a sucker for low-poly horror it's one of my fave genres). Well done!

Played this for such a long time, made a "late-surger" build focusing primarily on stamina. Super fun and I felt very maternal for the snails especially the doped-up/goopy ones. I also had performance issues but I'll try downloading the windows build and see if that helps!

Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear that about the controls and the tutorial as those were big things I worried about during development! Thanks so much for playing and giving your feedback!

Lmao! Thats awesome, I spent a bit of time just making the turtles satisfying for those who were tutorial-avoidant (which I totally understand it was quite lengthy), throwing a dang turtleshell around is always fun. Thanks for playing and giving feedback on the game!

Thank you so much! My partner and I are audio people first so I'm very happy to hear that the audio was generally well received. Thanks for playing and giving your feedback!

Thank you so much for playing! Even if you have the turtles the same color if you collide into enough stuff you can generate a mutation to get yourself out of the entire board being the same thing! That's my way of making the mutation inherent to the win condition of the game instead of just a random pick up. I'm glad you had fun and thanks again for spending time on my lil game!

I looooove fishtank games like these, it takes me back to an old one on Windows where you could have it as a screensaver, also reminds me of Tiny Aquarium which I've put too many hours into lol! The cat jumpscared me but I loved it, definitely could be a clicker/idler if you wanted to continue working on it! Great work all around!

First I wanna say the animations and aesthetic of this game is absolutely gorgeous! I had the same UI issue as others did and unfortunately restarting and zooming out didn't solve it, but I'll be bookmarking it to try out later if you guys keep working on it after the voting period ends!

This is such a cute concept for a game! I also had framerate issues cause my laptop is a potato, but I doubt that's a game issue lol! Had a great time playing it, I do wish the force was a little lower but I also enjoyed the weight of hitting the enemies as well!

This game is GORGEOUS! Especially from a solo dev and esp in the time limit of the jam! I do agree with others about the jumping mechanic and it would be cool if the levels were stitched together for sure. You really got the aesthetic down and I really appreciate how smooth and easy to read the UI was!

Really cool puzzle game! I loved the little guys and the cycling mechanic for sure, definitely stumped me a bit and got me thinking for sure! Played for longer than I intended cause I was having so much dang fun!

Here's my game! My name in the discord is @thatsoheeron! I'm in the chat as @squinton27/APWSTR Gaming sorry for the promo comment earlier I didn't see this post at first!

Thank you so much! This was definitely a "can I even do that?" type of idea, which usually makes me hyperfocus on it to get it done in time lol. I'm really glad you liked it! Thanks for playing and giving your feedback!

5s across the board from me, easily I played about an hour before realizing I have to go play and rate more games, congrats on this absolute feat! Loved the story and the puzzles/level design were so well thought out! Fantastic job!

I actually pogged when the player turned into a rat! I agree a bit about the dialogue and I do think the collision hitboxes could be a bit smaller for easier walking but I loved the little graveyard level it was very atmospheric, and I do love that Kenney asset pack as well. Walking controls felt very comfortable and helped me settle into the world super well! Great job!

Also forgot to say good job on getting gold in 9 rounds! The earliest I've gotten so far with this current version is 7 rounds so you did really well!

Thank you for playing and leaving your feedback! It's actually on a set timer so you don't have to wait and watch the turtles crawl to a stop every round and get a feel for the powerup/force as you play, as I thought that would be too boring, but I totally understand the abrupt feeling as well, I can definitely try and play around with the timing to see if I can get it to feel more fluid.

Thank you so much for playing and leaving your feedback! It was one of those ideas I couldn't get out of my head so I had to make it lol.

Thank you for playing and giving your feedback! That's a super interesting idea, maybe the little mutaitons could up the force of the turtles? That would be interest and I might play around with it after the voting period ends. Also I don't remember if I mentioned it in the tutorial and if I did, it likely wasn't explained super well, but when there's no mutations on the board the goal is to cause as many collisions as possible to ensure you're generating a mutation on the next round. So go full power and bounce off of the walls/your enemy. Though I think I may work on there being more feedback to the player when that happens so it's more clear. Thank you again for playing though you've given me a lot of new cool ideas to work on!

Thanks for playing and giving your feedback! I think I took advantage of the right-angle bouncing a bit too much when I was debugging the game as it does make it a whole lot easier to control where you end up lol. I definitely think taking the angle into account would make it a more sophisticated game and am interested in implementing it once I get back to working on the game after voting ends!

Lol thanks! I may be a huge nerd and had too much fun with Punnet Squares in school lol

Super satisfying beat 'em up! I loved the music, art and polish! Learned too late that I could slash but I'd play a whole game of this for sure!

This is a super cool concept and I love the minimalist aesthetic, it makes the UI super clean, it's a bit confusing at first but I feel if it's broken up by levels or had a tiny walkthrough tutorial it would help players understand what to do, though I understand it's explaining a tough concept. Love the original take on the theme though!

I love the little turtle sprite in the loading screen and the base turtle sprite they're too adorable! The beyblade/robot fighting concept is super cool and a great implementation of the theme as well!

The Combat system is super interesting and I really liked thinking of how to set up my build. The combat itself was a little slow but I think thats very easily fixable. Plus the accessibility was amazing loved the different inputs. Also seeing your super neat scene transition in the discord inspired me to work on mine in my game!

I absolutely love the aesthetic, music and writing in this game! The gameplay reminds me of Horsey Game a ton, and it seems like it could be super addicting if yall decide to work on it more with more difficult races/tournaments, or the ability to gamble on a race. Either way I had a great time and this is a great submission!

Amazing game! Love the pixelart you really nailed this particular style, and the level design was very good and intuitive. Wonderful work all around!

Thank you! One of my biggest worries working on it was that it'd be a bit tough to understand at first, but I'm glad it did and you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing and rating it means a lot <3

Aw thank you! To be fair I'm using a Punnet Square very loosely in concept lol. Thank you for playing and rating it means so much <3

Thank you so much! That means a lot <3

Thanks so much for playing! We definitely will keep that in mind!

Thank you so much for checking it out! Yeah all that was planned but got cut cause we were cutting it close to the deadline, so if we continue on this project we'll definitely add that!

Thank you so much!

Really liked the strategy aspect to this one! I also enjoyed the artstyle and simple animation. It would be cool if you could pause and think about where to put stuff, I understand that's a lot for the time constraint though. I would play more once the farm bug is fixed for sure! Overall great job :)

Really cute game! I love the lil potion brewing guy! I felt the spacebar and q inputs were nice in that I imagine you can brew things quite fast if you get really good at it lol. The music felt repetitive after a while, but overall the vibe is awesome and I would definitely play more!
