Contrary to your belief, an avn isn't "required" to be polygamy/harem in order to be an avn. If you don't like romance, or having to choose/have different saves for different paths, then go play a game which focuses on harem/gooning and getting everyone in one go. Easy Peasy.

The amount of anititty nerds in here crashing out lmao. Called gooner shit cause it is gooner shit. Dev's story, dev's work, dev can do what the fuck they want with it. If they are tired of doing gooner shit, aint gotta do gooner shit. Go grab another animated porn for your whole "I need to see animated people having sex because it's too unbelievable for me to actually see a real person having sex" life, and stop crashing out on a porn game comment section.
And yall got the nerve to call the dev a "loser"... Right.
Dev do your thing, writing is an interesting turn. It's a good story, I'll be honest I don't know if it's truly "novel" level of a story but interesting to see what you pull out of it. Maybe adjust your medium from novels and focus on webisode/webtoon style story release as you get a better feel on fleshed out writing mechanics.
Try giving it a shot, you never know. May have a knack for it, and always a bonus to learn something new. Look at theirs as an example. A very clear difference between Once in A Lifetime vs Eternum, you can clearly see the progression of the skill level and knowledge of it. Don't burden yourself on trying to be A List perfect from the get go, have some fun.
All I can say to anyone on the fence, is just take the leap. Not for the demo or free, but for the paid/steam/patreon.
100% worth it. The building of the world, characters and story are second to none. And it's got a lot of content for being so few episodes already. It was kinda throwing me off how long I was playing before I even got to where it went to the next episode.
Underground seriously outdid the scene with this one cause just damn. I've come across some excellent ones since I've found this whole type of thing, but I'm finding it hard to not admit that the development and weight of choices in this story is the best I've played. It's quite rare where I ever feel "immersed" or connected to a story.
I can like characters and enjoy a story yes (like watching a good movie), but rarely do I feel at an internal level an actual struggle/sense of consequence or reward in navigation of a story and this one had me almost at every turn.
Don't listen to the one angry stick up the ass basement dweller ranting in the comments.
This story is absolutely badass. The comedy, emotion, serious, and action are all properly tuned to their respective needs throughout it.
It's rare you get a solid mix of everything working beautifully together. Story is cohesive and (as I have seen) doesn't contain any holes or inconsistencies. Dialogue is smooth and naturally flowing throughout all characters and events. Timetable and flow of passing situations and events are all properly handled. You don't feel at many (if any) points that things are going too slow/fast or not making sense.
All involved characters, even side characters have a solid investment to the world building and main casts progression. The cast of Li's so far in these 6 chapters have been handled perfectly. From lesser to mains, each one has an appropriate level of building, backstory, development with the MC and attachment to the story. I have yet to see a single character where I wondered why they were there, or had to wonder "who" they were for any kind of relevancy.
MC is quite expertly handled with a solid mix of personality and trauma. Neither one overshadows the other or causes those jarring moments where you would want something handled in a different manner. His traumas naturally affect the story in appropriate places while still allowing for signs of growth and connection, whereas his personality never feels too overbearing in the "super nice/smart/badass" tropes main characters tend to fall into.
Even the antagonists are pretty finely tuned. You get a solid justification in their existence, reasoning for being the "bad guy" that makes sense, and sufficient reason for you yourself to dislike them, but are still given a real sense of humanity in the *why* of their position.
There is also a good amount of realization in the need for additional playthroughs as choices have a solid logic behind affecting future interactions and situations. You'll begin to realize mistakes made, things to say or do differently for one character in how it affects another and so on. Most of all so far, IT MAKES SENSE when those situations do come up.
Overall, excellent game and well worth playing through/following.
I gotta say, this is one of my top faves by far. The lewds aside (not knocking those who enjoy them, but animations don't really do nothing for me compared to the real thing), this story, characters, music and especially the MC are absolutely fucking awesome. I would absolutely let this MC steal my wife and not be mad at it one bit.
Let me give you credit, for your first project.... this is an amazingly developed story. I'll save any critiques because quite honestly anything that could be critiqued is minor at best and takes absolutely nothing away from what you've created.
The story every step of the way through your initial chapter releases has been beautiful. Obvious at a lot of steps, but in a very positive way. Certain times you simply just know what's coming up and feel satisfied when it does.
Every character is properly grown and included into the story as well as the subtle but thoughtful ways you've tied them to the mc. Your story may be one of the very rare times, probably the only time, where I haven't been able to lock on to a single character, (I'm personally a very monogamous person, so I tend to always find one character and never deviate in a story) nor did I find any issues in being able to empathize/like each one. (although having a decent amount of experiences dating nurses, I am quite wary of Sarah lol)
I'm going to end this here because honestly I could spend an entire page worth of scrolling praising you for the emotional depths, transitions and flow of your story and I'm sure people don't have a month to read a single review.
Amazing job, and I truly hope you'll continue with this development and keep true to your vision with it because in just what you've given so far... It's become one of my most favorite next to Leap of Faith.
First post, but fucking hell you and your damn emotions. I can't go any route but CeCe's cause I'm afraid of what happens if I don't choose her. I don't think I've hit a single sex part of this game so far and I could care less. The damn emotional buildup every 5 seconds has me unable to choose any options which would even lead up to any of that and had to put the damn game away for a couple days to reset my brain.
Which leads me to say, amazing fucking game and story telling, ambience, music everything.
