You can disable your Antivirus program to see does that help, or exclude whole game folder from AV, who knows.

You can check those player .log files,  and check is your graphic card listed in the log under 6 and I guess that 11 and 12 are also "important"

  1. Initialize engine version: 2019.4.13f1 (518737b1de84)
  2. [Subsystems] Discovering subsystems at path D:/IO/evergate/steam-8-11-21/Evergate_Data/UnitySubsystems
  3. GfxDevice: creating device client; threaded=1
  4. Direct3D:
  5.     Version:  Direct3D 11.0 [level 11.1]
  6.     Renderer: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (ID=0x2489)
  7.     Vendor:
  8.     VRAM:     8050 MB
  9.     Driver:   30.0.15.1179
  10. D3D11 device created for Microsoft Media Foundation video decoding.
  11. <RI> Initializing input.
  12. <RI> Input initialized.
  13. <RI> Initialized touch support.

Also, there is "options.json" inside that folder but it will be only created once you change some game settings, but you can try adding it inside "C:\Users\Your user name\AppData\LocalLow\StoneLantern\Evergate" folder, maybe it will help you.

Go here

Evergate - Pastebin.com

Copy all text notepad and save it as options.json

Make sure that your File name extension in windows is ON otherwise you will end with options.json.txt file...

in options.json just change Resolution which fits your display and try now.

Hope it will help you otherwise I have no more ideas :(

You mean you copy-pasted in another folder ? It is possible it doesn't work because of registry keys, either reinstall or try to adjust registry keys, just search for Evergate, I think there are 2 keys  in registry which you need to adjust...

EDIT: Nope, it has nothing with registry keys, game should run from any folder as I can see

EDIT2: Do you have anything here "C:\Users\Your user name\AppData\LocalLow\StoneLantern\Evergate" ?

I only have one thing on my mind. If you haven't tried that already, install the game outside program files folder...

Look very nice. :)

Thank You
