Really good feedback thank you! I completely agree that the drag and drop does not feel intuitive for this kind of game. I realized that while doing a bit of testing but I was already in too deep :D. Thanks for the hints in the right direction!

Cute game with a nice message! I like the visuals and sfx. It does get stale pretty fast but I agree with the other commentators that the idea has potential! Well done

I really like the idea and the exection! I love that you have to multitask your way through the game! The only thing I would've changed is that you disable the collision once you grab a package. Its pretty stressfull to navigate around the floor thingys. Also the visuals need a bit of work but for a 48h jam thats a really nice idea and submission.

(1 edit)

Peak Storytelling! All jokes aside very well executed sequences. I think it needs a little twist gameplay wise but as a simple platformer its great. Especially in 48h. Maybe its just me butI would've preferred to jump on spacebar. It made it a lot harder for that the jumpbutton is the up arrow. Apart from that, very well done and a really nice jam submission!

I really like this kind of game. I feel like there are a bit too many boxes coming my way and sometimes my gun does not shoot. But I like the idea! I feel like the cooldown speed could be a bit higher. I agree with the mix of pixels and 3D. Makes it very unique. Very nice submission! Well executed

Thank you so much! I agree I may have taken balancing not too much into account but the main thing is fun anyway so there is that! Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!

Someone mentioned I should've made it possible to delete the boxes with right click and I funnily enough never thought about that. There is a trashcan item that lets you remove one Box at a time but I agree its not really straightforward! Thanks for your feedback and thanks for Playing!

Oh lord I never thought about the rightclick opportunity! Thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback!

Its so interesting to see how other devs approach the jam when the strengths lie elsewhere. I am really bad at visuals for now and my prototype was hideous for most of the jam while you started with really polished visuals. The color palette was a really good choice and the whole game in itself looks simply awesome because of that.

Again: You did a really good job!

You are making me blush! Thank you so much!

I better see big bear in the next fromsoft game! Lovely visuals and don't think I missed the hilarious animation in the microwave! Well done!!

I´d love to see that!

What a game! With more levels I would give this a 10/10 for a jam game. Visuals: great, SFX: great, Idea: great. Really well done!

The visuals are top notch! I like the idea with the timed explosions. Very well done

I like the artstyle but i just kept on pressing Spacebar and the game kept continuing? What am I supposed to do?

Music is really fitting and the special object is in the center of the game but I feel like the theme is missing a bit. Still impressive work for a weekend jam!

I love the visuals. This looks so creepy! I agree with it needing some kind of spooky atmosphere music or something. The gameplay idea is good with the movement just when the light is out but it just does not do it for me. I feel like something is missing.

Love the idea and interpretation of the theme. I agree with the janky controls but exactly that makes it kind of fitting. Love the fixed camera as well. Really well done especially in 12 hours!

This actually works really good for me! Love the visuals of the zombies. After about 5 mins the game got really laggy and as Lipatant already said the audio just doesn't do it for me. I like the upgrade system and it gives the typical vampire survivers dopamine rush. There is something sketchy happening when choosing upgrades to. It lags and time runs really fast after that. But thats just a bug. Really well done game!

I like the concept! We had a very similar idea! I feel like the camera should move to the right or am I wrong? I just catapult the box out of the screen and I hear that there is something happening but I can't see it. Correct me if I just missed some controls!

Fun concept! I like the screen juice and the decision to make the boxes do more damage. Therefore you have to use them. The visuals are very fitting and everything seems to work together perfectly. Very well done!

Congrats on your first Jam submission! I like the concept but as mania says, a little feedback would´ve been great. But it is a small timeframe and you did well!

Wow! This is so polished and well done! Good job! Music, SFX, everything looks good!

I love the chaos that erupts once you reach the later stage of the game. I really like the idea and its very well executed. Really well done!

A really enjoyable game! Love the idea and the implementation. Props to the upgrade system in this timeframe! Really well done!

Love the vibe but I agree with the other comments. Its a bit too hard and too random. I love some good bullet hell but the projectiles are not "visible" enough for a bullet hellish experience. I love the visuals tho!

I love physics based games. Very well executed!

Love the interpretation of the theme and special object. Art is top notch and the beat goes hard. Good work!

I like the idea! Give the ground a bit more texturebut else I like the artstyle and I love crazy Jerry! Well done

Good idea and good implementation. Love the dorky cat and loved the cat boss even more. The whack when you lose is really funny. Well done!

A fun little game. A bit buggy when trying to pick up a new pizza but great fun. The tutorial goes by a bit fast tho.

Love the dorky visuals

Level Design was really nice! Also liked the amount of levels.

Thankfully I found the cat. Very good job espcially for your first jam!

Really good idea and really polished for a jam! I liked it a lot.

Thank so you much for the feedback and for the kind words! This really means a lot to me!

Its really funny that you actually manage to clear the game without the stalker seeing you, considering its a very smallish map but lucky you! :)

I spent the last few hours of polish to improve the ambiente and atmosphere and it seems like that worked out.

Considering that this was my game and my first jam I am really happy with the results and your kind words are the cherry on top! Looking forward to the next Jam :)

Thank you very much! Glad you liked it!

I think rotating the gun is definetly a great idea. I think I would consider giving it a try to make the gun rotation more "freely". Maybe press a button and then instead of "looking" with the mouse you are now rotating the gun freely in your hand. I have no idea if this works but I would be really curious. It would be controlled similar to the Hand simulator game (https://store.steampowered.com/app/657200/Hand_Simulator/)
) which does not take itself too serious and is really clunky but loads of fun for a short time.

I hope you understand what I am going for here :)
