Glad you enjoyed it! After seeing a few more people play it, I think the game could use a few more hints. The monsters need to be tweaked as well, they currently see the light through walls.
Thank you for the feedback! Was my first time uploading a game or even making a game, I didn't know the best way to upload it. I added a downloadable version to my profile after it was recommended to me.

Also if you start the game and move your mouse while the message is up, you can get turned around. The start is very dark, but you should see a light in the distance you can walk to.
Dropping the light doesn't instantly drop their aggro completely. The monsters will run to the last place they saw the light and conduct a search before returning to their patrol. If you are in their path, they can still find you. They aren't completely blind in the dark, but their perception is greatly reduced, that perception goes up slightly if they are in search mode as well.
