I found the problem, it was itch not liking my email domain. Switched my account to a gmail address and it came right through. Apparently my domain was used by too any spammers in the past and that’s not easily forgotten nor forgiven so the entire domain is backlisted.

As the title says, the email never arrived - it is not in my junk/spam. Itch seemingly had no option for me to have the email resent (it just says to check my email there) when I was checking last night, but the button showed about 10 min ago and I tried again. And again no email.

This may or may not be related to itch allowing me to buy they game twice (previously as part of a very large bundle that did not include steam keys, the backlog is real, I didn’t even realize I already had this).

nope reset the bindings and still same issue.

Reinstalled as admin and now it seems to be behaving. I think theres some sort of access issue with where its saving those bindings rather than them being lost.

As soon as the black and white or grayscale segment is over with and I am set on a color overhead map, the controls cease functioning. The game is just dead stopped with the music looping and the character repeating is idle animation. only the escape key reacts at all, allowing me to bring up the menu to exit the game.

Neither keyboard nor controller will do anything else.
