Hey, thanks for the feedback. If you have some spare time could you go over what you meant when you said the hammer would go deep into an object? Was your hammer going through the ground an being stuck inside of colliders, or was your hammer going above the stone watermelon, hammer or ball where you could then pull yourself up on top of the object. The first is definitely not intended but the second one is and maybe it could be communicated better visually.

Either way I'll check out your game as soon as I can! Thanks for playing

A fresh and interesting take on the Vampire Survivors style game. I even got at the time of writing this second place on the leaderboard (still half the time of top place though). I believe that the base of a super fun game is there and with some extra content and possibly permanent progression for replay value this could be a hit.

Thanks this means a lot! Can't wait to try out your project.

Hey, sorry to hear you weren't able to play. AI is certainly on our agenda of things to do. I have personally been using Parsec to play the game online with my friends when I don't have anyone to play with in person.

Hi! thanks for the feedback, regarding how this connects to the theme my idea here was a reversed scoring system where you start off with a set number score 300,000 in this case and you lose score the more damage your body takes slamming into the walls. So your ultimate goal is to complete levels in the least amount of moves possible (Protecting your body), to achieve the highest score you can. I can totally see where that is not completely clear and really is up to personal interpretation though. Glad you enjoyed the game. good luck with the jam!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the game. I would love to add a mechanic such as a pickup that allows the player to jump multiple times in air. However as for the levels we currently have designed it would go against the intentionally designed difficulty. I also enjoyed your entry. Good luck on the jam!

I really liked the variety of things you need to worry about and manage while still maintaining a simple control scheme. Really well designed imo. Art is pretty solid too. Great entry!

I left my rating and review :P

My game:  https://itch.io/jam/scorejam17/rate/1378767

I liked the attention to small game feel details such as the screen zooming in when you shoot a shape and the shapes splattering as well (idk if it was intentional but the added difficulty the splatters caused was pretty funny.) Nice work!

If you have any extra time I would really appreciate if you would check out my submission. https://itch.io/jam/scorejam17/rate/1378767

The driving was really fun, with a lot of room to master. The difficulty curve might be a little steep at the start. I think adding something to the front of the car would be helpful because sometimes I don't know which end is the front and which is the back. Otherwise really solid entry!

Sling Punk My Submission. already rated yours

This game was pretty hard but fun! The sprites also feel really polished. Good job!

Awesome game I really like the mechanics. It's really difficult I think lowering the difficulty curve in the start would really help the feel of the game overall awesome submission!

Overall really like the concept super simple really easy to pick up and play. Fits the theme well. The sprites were really clean I think that some extra game feel things would be nice though like particle effects when objects collide with the slime. Maybe make the slime animate depending on what hits or by the amount of health left. The game doesn't seem to have any audio which could really add to the feel once again. I think with some audio and some of those effects would make this a really satisfying game to play. Solid submission! :D

If you have time and could check out my submission I would really appreciate it!

I like the concept of being able to move the thing you are protecting in this case the daughter, but needing to leave them in place to fight. Some things to note, it is really hard to know what to do initially even after reading the text on the menu screen. So maybe adding button prompts when you are near items a brief walkthrough of the house during daytime before it gets dark would be nice to allow the player to get a sense of their surroundings. It sounded like the enemy slashing sound was global / 2d I think it would be cool if those sounds used 3d space so you can locate the direction they are by sound. I do like working through the dark because you have to watch your back but I think that player sprite itself lacks visibility so making that brighter would be nice. Overall good job!

If you have time and could check out my submission I would really appreciate it!

I really enjoy the way the shotgun kickback works. I also think the artwork for the center crystal is really cool. More variety in enemies and maybe weapon upgrades would be cool to see.

If you have time and could check out my submission I would really appreciate it!
