Okay, thanks that clears it up (:

The jam page say's that their are eight submissions, however their are only seven that can be seen. I'm wondering if this is a bug or just a glitch on my end. Any replies would be appreciated!

Good luck and welcome back (:

Yeah, time is definitely a major issue when making any game. It gets easier as it goes though, good luck!

Wow, that's impressive. Good luck on your project!

So I am using this game jam as a learning experience, trying new things and such. I was wondering if anyone else was as well, and if so what.

As to what I am hoping to gain from this jam, the following are all my goals (just an FYI, I use Unity):

  • Animating stuff
  • Camera movement and effect.
  • Top Down Shooting & Movement.
  • Music & Sound Effects
  • Setting up a proper store page (Trailer Video & Useful Screenshots).

Good Luck to everyone, have fun!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Messed up in recording the start and finish however I got the middle. Hope you enjoy (:

Just to clarify the controls on the settings screen are wrong. Please just use the up arrow key to jump. Sorry for the mishap, but otherwise thanks for checking out the game.

If anyone is interested seeing the timeline it will be on my game page (will be uploaded Jan 21st).

Thanks for playing. Yeah sorry about the messed control screen I forgot to fix it and only realized after submissions closed. I didn't think the jam page was different then the game page as I tried to clarify their.

(:

(:

Yeah it is YEARS better then the one the comes built into windows! (:

Sure I will check that out, probably less error prone . :)

Dang maybe I should of downloaded a screen recorder, I had 2 hours filmed... The first stopped recording because I was using gimp and it would only film my Unity project (that I hadn't loaded) so it was an hour of black screen -_-

Noooooo Corrupted Recording ):

I am going to wake up at 5 tomorrow, not sure if sleep (just kidding I gotta catch at least some zzz's) is a requirement till after the Jam!

I am probably going to do a timeline for mine to show other indie dev's my process (I'm an amateur but none the less) and encourage others to do the same so we can all learn from one another.

Good Luck and Have Fun Everyone!

My latest release that I made for the Weekly Game Jam (Week 110)

It is a 2D platformer where you must escape to the sky island!

Give it a try on your android device and tell me what you think!

Like an extra life???

The Void (0.2)

The whole idea of the game is just to survive as long as you possibly can. I was hoping to get some criticism and ideas for the game as it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - The goal was just to survive, I was going to try and implement waves however I did not have enough time. I will try to add a bit of a tutorial at the start so the aim of the game is clearer. In regards to the installer I will try to figure out how to use an executable for the game.

Thanks - I will try to implement those features and update the game when I can.

Any reasonable comments, suggestions or questions will be answered on this page. Please note I cannot always reply right away, but I will try to reply to anything.
