As the jam is almost over, I want to see how many extra votes I can get.

I will try to vote as many games as I can that vote for ours, but I don't have much time so I cannot guarantee anything.

Here is ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Hopefully I will be able to vote on some too, but I don't want to make promises that I don't know if I can keep.

Thank you for any support!

Ok, noted.

1. more stuff

2. don't throw you at walls

Glad you enjoyed it though! We are considering working on this after the jam, depending on results and whether real life will allow it.

If you are interested, would you consider subscribing and following? It would really help us out.

Really liked the items, good job!

Here's ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe. I'll rate yours now.

You really did get me there, I thought the short was about to loop.

Incredibly creative idea and a great and polished execution, as well as being something I haven't really seen before. It's also great to see a fellow roguelike/lite within the game jam.

Made one with similar mechanics to Enter the Gungeon, hope you like it! https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Hate it when I'm just chilling and I get locked in the tower of doom and despair.

Loved screaming into my mic to get a beautifully-pixelated bird to jump, certainly an experience.

Really great game with a great concept. Also, how did you get the pixelated look to it?

I'll rate yours now. Here's ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

I js counted down from the top when filtering by "Most Rated"

Thanks! Loved yours too.

Thank you, I think our main focus for this game was the customisability, so I'm really glad that carried through.

If we do end up doing a post-jam version, then some more enemies would definitely feature. And, in this eventuality, maybe even a boss? 👀

(1 edit)

Somehow, we have got to #19 most voted in the entire jam!

I don't know how, but I want to thank everyone who has played and voted on our game.

I wish everyone the best of luck when it comes time for results, there are so many great and unique games in this jam.

Here is our game, if anyone else is interested: https://itch.io/jam/bad-ideas-game-jam-2026/rate/4436475

Nah at some points coding in scratch is harder, it has nothing built in. Have you ever considered moving into other engines, or are you a diehard scratch fan?

Absolutely great game, how does this only have 4 votes? One of the best-made puzzle games I have seen here!

I did manage to softlock myself in a pit in the castle, and the physics of the boxes could be weird on stairs. But other than those, and some doors starting unlocked, I couldn't find any issues.

Well done, and I hope many, many more people find this game before the jam ends!

Oh yeah, so you have. I'll play yours now.

Glad you liked it! Yeah, the aiming does improve if you have the cursor further from the player, but it is still an issue.

I'm glad you liked the ending!

Ok, at least that's an easier issue to deal with. I'm glad to hear it!

Great artwork, loved the mix of pixel art and 3D models.

Thanks, I've just replied to that now, and I'll play yours now too.

If you hold your cursor further away then that does help, but if we do continue this then that is something we will fix.

Yeah, the bullet hitboxes did end up being very odd, if we do continue this that will be something to fix. Were they close to walls? Or were they just in the middle of the room? Whichever of those it is definitely would change the issue.

Glad you enjoyed the game though!

Yeah, hit feedback is definitely a must if we do continue this game's development. Glad you enjoyed it though!

Haven't seen a scratch game yet, so this was a nice surprise. Really interesting game and concept, well done!

I'll play yours now. Whenever you're free, I'd appreciate your vote too: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Well I'm glad that I managed to make a shooter that you like then.

Thanks!

Really simple yet really addictive! Love the concept of the play area being so easily exitable, at the cost of a larger wave when you go back in. Being able to touch grass in a game is always a bonus, too!

I'll play your game now. Here is ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Really unique, love the multiplayer system too, and the hands are a nice if unsettling touch. Good job!

It looks interesting, I'll play it now. Here's ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believ

Really great puzzle game with good progression. I really feel for the scientist, poor guy never got to use his ghost hunting lasers.

Sounds good, I'll play it now. Here is ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Oh right, I get what you mean now.  But thank you for the advice, I do agree with it!

Liked the concept, but there were a few bugs, like the buttons sometimes not working and a crash when I bought a bar. Really unique idea though, great take on the clicker genre.

I'll play yours now, and here is ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Yeah, the shooting being odd is definitely an issue, but a fixable one. And the lack of enemies is simply a timing issue, but if we do continue this posy-jam then we'll be sure to add more.

Glad you enjoyed it! But, what do you mean by the movement being "almost cut"?

I'll rate yours now, and here is ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Very cool concept with a lot of potential!

About to play yours, here is ours: https://tanglefiend-games.itch.io/make-believe

Great game with some really good replayability, great job! Also, the art and artstyle are great too.
