I’ve just released a game that I have been working on for the past week for the MegaJam 2021. It is called ROOS! And it is about saving the C Drive of a PC that you are in. Your need to optimize it by moving folders from the C Drive to the D or E drive or delete the folder by moving it to the deletion area in the middle.

Be aware of the viruses. They may seem cute and funny but they are harmful! Their body has a “Not A Virus” text to fool you. You have been warned!

Thank you for playing!! There were many bugs that I have been able to fix in the past week. The game works very well now and it is easy to control the cart without having things flying around. All those fixes will be released when the full game comes out.

The full release will have extra features/mechanics :)

I like the idea of the game a lot. I found the game great to play but there are some points that I think can improve the game a lot.

Pros:

- The music was amazing I loved it. Even the whispers were great when you collect the lights.

- Simplicity of the UI and how text appears on the right whenever you collect a light.

- The overall graphics of the game, I found it to be very suitable for this game.

Cons:

- When I made wrong turns, sometimes I couldn't make it back in time to make another turn so I wanted to restart the game and there was no pause menu. Adding one would be great. I believe in Unity you would use "Time.timeScale = 0;" to pause/freeze the game.

- To me I found the level to be too big and not enough time to explore.

Areas of Improvements:

- For the main menu of the game you could improve it a little bit by adding some highlights on the text that you hover on. Making it glow a little bit or something like that.

- If you wanna keep the level to be big or maybe make the level bigger you could add some indications for the player on whether the player is going in the right direction or not. I was thinking maybe at first slow light flashes (the light on the player starts flashing a little bit. Maybe once every 0.5 seconds) and then the number of flashes increases the more the player keeps going in the wrong direction.

- You also could make more levels by making them procedurally generated.

Overall, I loved the game and found it entertaining and challenging :)

Thank you so much for your reply and congratulations to you too on completing your game for the jam!!

Amazing feedback on my game thank you so much. It's great that you didn't find it boring because it was something that I was very afraid of.

Game Title/URL: Steal And Escape

Pitch/Information: The game is about you being inside a grocery store and you try to steal stuff and put them in your cart and try to escape. There is an alien who is part of a group of aliens who invaded our planet. You need to escape with your cart without being caught by that alien. There are still bugs in the game but I hope that you enjoy it.

I'd like feedback on:

- What aspects of the game that you think need improvements?

- Did you find the game scary and fun to play? or was it boring? if you found it boring I would love to hear why so that I can improve the game :)

- What was annoying to you while playing the game?

I need help on: Things that you think I can add to the game (new features/mechanics, game mods..etc)
