Thank you for your message and for your kind offer! It’s great to meet someone with a background in linguistics.
Just to clarify, are you looking for a Japanese translation for a game you are developing? Or were you offering to assist me with my current translation projects?
If it's the latter, I truly appreciate the offer, but since I’ve just started this activity and the current workload is manageable for one person, I’m planning to handle all the tasks by myself for now to ensure a consistent quality and workflow.
However, if you have a project of your own that needs translation, I’d be happy to discuss it!
[UPDATE: Feb 12, 2026]
The initial slots are filled; however, since many of my upcoming projects are currently in the scheduling stage, I have more immediate capacity than anticipated. Therefore, I will continue to accept volunteer applications for a while longer—specifically for projects that are ready to start within the next few days. If you'd like to collaborate and help me expand my portfolio, I’d love to hear from you.
Important: My Discord ID was previously listed incorrectly as tacro.12. The correct ID is tashiro.12. I will give the highest priority to anyone who tried to reach out during that time. Please contact me again—I sincerely apologize for the confusion.
Hi developers! Do you want to unlock the full potential of your game in the Japanese market?
I’m Tashiro, a Japanese localizer dedicated to bridging the gap between amazing indie titles and the Japanese community. As a gamer myself, I know that many Japanese players hesitate to buy incredible games simply because of the language barrier or awkward machine translations.
I am here to help you provide an authentic, immersive experience for Japanese players.

What I Offer (Beyond Just Translation)
- Natural, Manual Translation: Unlike machine translation, I focus on character personality, emotional context, and cultural nuances (especially jokes and idioms) that define the user experience.
- In-Game Testing & LQA: I don’t just deliver a file. I can perform hands-on testing to ensure the text fits the UI and matches the in-game situation perfectly.
- Bug Reporting (Free Option): As part of my testing, I will also report any bugs or visual issues (like mesh errors) I encounter. No extra cost—just my way of supporting your game’s polish.
Current Status: Volunteer Applications Open
To build a world-class portfolio, I am currently offering my localization services for FREE.
While I am managing multiple projects, I am still looking for exciting new titles to collaborate on. Please note that the starting date for new projects may vary depending on my current queue. I’m happy to discuss a flexible schedule that fits your development timeline!

Thank you very much for reaching out!
I’m still inexperienced with translation work, so depending on the scale of the project, there is a possibility that I may not be able to support it all the way through. I hope you can understand this in advance.
If you are still comfortable with that, I would be happy to review the actual text and do my best to assist you.
I have sent a friend request to ‘dignoranza’, so please check it when you have a moment.
Hi everyone,
I am a native Japanese speaker and a passionate indie game fan. I am currently looking to gain experience in game localization and would like to offer my translation services completely for free.
Since I am an amateur looking to build my portfolio, I am looking for "trial" projects to build my experience and test my workflow.
What I can do:
Translate your game text from English to natural, immersive Japanese.
Focus on character personalities, item names, and the overall atmosphere.
I will provide the translated text in your preferred format (Excel, Google Sheets, .txt, etc.). Note: I do not handle Unity/Engine files directly.
I'd like to start with a small project as a trial run.
Conditions & Notes:
Price: 100% Free.
Status: As I am an amateur and this is my first time, I cannot 100% guarantee the final completion or professional speed. This is a learning process for me, and I want to grow with your project.
Credit: I require my name to be included in the game’s credits or on the store page.
Revisions: Unlimited. I will rewrite the text as many times as needed to make sure it fits your vision (and your UI!).
I am doing this because I truly love games and want to help more developers bring their stories to the Japanese audience.
Please leave a comment if you're interested.
Thank you!
Thank you!
When I played the latest version, I was able to play to the end safely.
This is a request from a Japanese player, so you can ignore it. Could you please add Japanese subtitles?
I like this game, but I'm having a hard time understanding the conversation.
So, to enjoy this game more., If you have time to spare, please consider it.
Finally, thank you for the correctioned.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, there was a yellow circle next to the chair at the bar at first, but when I touched it and finished talking with the man, the yellow circle disappeared and the story stopped. However, there was one change, and light blue footprints appeared at the feet. I saw in the video that it points to the destination, but it has only one footprint, it always appears in front of me and points in the same direction as me.
Nice to meet you.
I found a bug in the latest version of vr.
I immediately had a conversation with the man at the bar, but the quest mark above the man who had the conversation did not disappear and I could not continue.
*I am Japanese, but this game was very interesting. I am not good at English, so I wrote it using an interpreter. Please consider this matter.
