Makes sense, probably making more complex meshes would be heavier. Btw, the in world interactions for building is pretty much what i've been trying to figure (just theoretically) how to make it feel good. Games like Vintage Story stepped up with some of those mechanics but i still feel that crafting grids are due to be replaced. Even thinking in games like astroneer that has very little UI, even your inventory is mostly in world. Amazing concept you've managed.

Thank you. If you don't mind awnsering, how do you deal with the rounded corners of the blocks? Anything specific or just more meshing?

And would like to add that one of the things that I also share is the seemingly will to make it run on a potato. I have a decent desktop but I try to do it on a 10y old laptop to be aware of the performance issues. Again really cool mindset and very aesthetic style

This is amazing. This is exactly something I’ve been trying to accomplish for a while (lack of focus and continuous shifting tech and doing experiments killed progress) which actually deters me a bit from continuing ngl. If you ever want a newbie to help let me know 😅 keep it up will be following :)
