Looks like the update was the issue, installed it and game ran fine, thanks.
Just got this game via the bundle. When I attempt to start it, a (blurry) splash screen appears for a few seconds, before some sort of error window pops up for a second, and then it closes.
Running the Windows version on Win 10.
