Same thing for me with uploading screenshots, and even choosing images to add to the game page from those already uploaded (not sure if uploading one here will work, but I’ll try [edit: doesn’t seem to - edit2: after a while it looks like the screenshot here at least showed up!])

Thank you so much for pointing out that forum post, Noree suggests in there to convert the GIF to APNG and it finally allowed me to work around the issue.
