Thanks for playing! I was a little worried about what the right level of hints would be, since I only had a couple people testing it before the submission.

What was the scenario? Sometimes, an item needs to be placed in the correct time as well as space to solve a problem (and it can usually be taken back from where it was placed to put it in the right setting without a level reset). I try to make the inspect text appropriate for such scenarios to indicate that but it's possible I missed one. (and if it's the 2D teleport thing, I'm so sorry)

This game looked so cool that I had to try it even though I can't really do first person games (the simulation sickness is swift and brutal). Totally worth it. So pretty.

Thanks for finding that visual bug, it's repeatable and definitely annoying, not sure how neither my testers nor I came across that (especially when I kept telling my friend to inspect everything haha)! Would love to know if there were other issues you came across.

Edit: found the issue, holding shift was intended to block interact input until release but the callback wasn't being affected as expected (super quick fix but obviously nothing can be done for the jam). My testers were generally pretty light on the inspects so none of us caught it. Sorry about that!

Is it a text box like the inspect box (transparent rectangle in the middle)?
There is an occasional bug in 2D space where interactions get messed up and the level needs to be restarted (part of why fast travel is always unrestricted), my current theory is that it's a proximity edge case putting things in a funny state. I haven't been able to hit it myself yet, but my main tester has seen it a couple times and they tend to move the character around more actively than I do. A UI element being stuck on the screen is interesting though, my tester mostly just got teleported in the rare case where they ran into issues.

Awesome visuals, very fun game (especially considering how bad I am at it but it didn't get too frustrating)

Very fun, may have to play again later! Only thing is it's hard to keep track of what the current items do.

Amazing art, great music (though that one part where that one song goes silent for a second is startling, made me think something sinister was about to happen), super fun story!
