Fantastic system! the free form character creation, easy to understand rules the fun nature of it inherently built in. I used this system to run an adventure time setting adventure, because the character creation was just that free and loose to create things that would easily fit within the show’s designs/themes. EVEN THE SPELL CASTING, fantastic and fun, not being bogged down by lines of texts, just a shape, description and agreement of what the spell looks like.

we had a:

• mushroom piloted skeleton
• Jiang-shi salesman
• Crazy elf

all of which were fantastic characters and easily fit within the creation system the book provides.

we ended up having a blast, twice! my players eagerly await for another one shot with this system.

I will keep this one in my bag for an on-the-go impromptu session if the need arises.

Thank you! Im thoroughly enjoying the adventure so far! marvellous art as well. Playing as a Psionic Rat we’ve named Jalapeno, shape shifting Minotaur Dendra and Philbis the warlock human, pact of the Great Heart (flavouring his patron) can’t wait to draw these characters myself.

Just bought the game, love the themes though im a little confused about the EP example it gives. if a character has two stats dividing them equally giving them 5 in strength and 5 in charm and the +2 means they have a total of strength 12 EP? so when I go to spend EP points on a task do I take them from the relative stat or the point pool total?

My shape changer Minotaur has 7 charm and 7 strength and I want her to bust down a door, do I subtract 3 EP from strength for a total success?

Slept on this for a long time, got it in a bundle over 4 years ago.

Upon reading it recently I am enamoured with it. The design of the game is very simple and easy to run with a bit of improvisation and imagination. Instead of having classes you have a chart of 100 character concepts to roll on each giving special ability or perk, they are weird and wonderful oddities or sometimes just Dave. We love Dave anyway.

You could bust this out whenever you have 4 or less hours with mates, character creation is very simple and straightforward, done in under 20 minutes. I am eager to run this soon!

Edit: upon running it, realized something else. Agent descriptions are vague enough for people to really imbue their own flavour to the concepts, really making them their own and in ways I never thought of.
