thanks! the atmosphere was def a fun one to go for, and it definitely was not supposed to be silent! i posted a patch for that so if you wanna give it one more reading/run you'll get the full experience now. thanks for pointing that out!

the flavr  was fun to write, as well. i kinda wanted to keep the original essence of the general implications associated with the major arcana while capturing something that wasn't 'quite right' at the same time. i tend to like games that lie to you in simple ways. the flavor will get a lot more tasty in the full game release, too.

thanks! i'm really happy to hear that, i am rough so far on getting a "whole game" aesthetic nailed down, but that hyper modern/retro duality was absolutely the vibe i was going for, so that means a lot. it was supposed to have audio which i just fixed today so if you wanna give it one more reading to get the full experience, it's intact now!

thanks so much! i was really fortunate to find the amazing pixel tarot cards by jcanabal and the enemy tokens by zordvil! visual game design is one of the fields i'm the newest/roughest in, so those pieces all immediately helped set the mood.

and tysm for mentioning the audio because it is definitely not supposed to be silent, the audio in fact adds a ton to the atmosphere. that has now been fixed, so you can get the full experience!

i will check yours out later tonight or tomorrow, i plan to go through the whole list at least by tomorrow afternoon.

decent atmosphere for sure, but i found the controls and FOV/camera speed extremely disorienting.

controls were way too frustrating given the inability to jump while moving forward properly

the enemy aggressiveness made the overall feeling a little unfair due to lack of space and sightline but overall i enjoyed the vibes

art direction and visuals were nicely done, the mechanics and flow were a little jumpy.

very cute art style and nice visuals overall. the text sound effect was grating after a minute.

like the overall aesthetic and direction

really loving the retro vibes, but the controls made it kinda hard to progress.

funny and unique, but the controls were a little clunky.

interesting that you can attack your own pieces, was this on purpose? overall i love the vibe, but was very confused as to how turns worked since i moved once and the enemy moved like 10 times lol.

very fun music, art, and vibes! was a little confusing on how to progress.

fun possession mechanic, but thrown a little too fast into it without explanation. good job.

interesting concept

really love the concept and execution mechanically, though the UI def needs some polish. well done!

it took a second to get the hand of it but once i did the swing mechanic is well done!

definitely a good start, the UI felt a little sparse on this though. made it hard to move around.

fun, cute little vibe. i like the overall graphics but next time i would definitely make a custom UI instead of using the default AI gen style.

nice graphics and flow but the collision mechanics made it feel very uncontrollable at points, which for a precision platformer is kinda a killer. well done tho!

this is far and away my favorite so far. i am absolutely in love with everything about this!

really enjoy the mystery and vibe. fun little puzzle.

no matter how many times i tried, it would not advance on this letter. the concept is fun, a reactive sort of typing survival horror? but the mechanics are very confusing and the art is just bland RE what everyone else mentioned.

this is kinda a nitpick but i also thought it was odd to say "thanks for giving me assets that don't force me to credit you". especially if you are relying on AI for other visuals, i think it'd behoove you to credit any actual artist you used work from.

like the vibes/atmosphere but the FOV made it really hard to play, almost a little nauseating, and the controls kept drifting so i couldn't get to the end.

really love a possession mechanic with animal-based skills (donkey kong games were great for this). things lagged really hard for me and the menu screen was impossible to either navigate or open into full screen.

this has such an awesome vibe to it, would love to see this developed further!

really fun approach! loved the art style and music, but the walking sound got really annoying after a minute and i wasn't sure in-game if there was anything else i needed to do besides solve the math.

dig the art direction overall. the eyeball holding a sniper rifle made me laugh quite a bit.

fun art style, but is there supposed to be a player character sprite? i just see a white square.

engaging enough to keep trying over and over but it might've been better to give a little ramp up time to the really quick moving obstacles. the one thing i would change for sure is how your music loops as with such a quick end-restart turn, the repeated cutting in and out is a little jarring.

thanks so much! doing so now. i appreciate it <3

hi yall i feel like such a doofus but i of course waited til the very last second to submit and even though i had a very light html only build and start submitting with a full minute left on the clock i didn't account for my terrible internet speed being even worse this morning. you can see my project was posted on time but i must've just ran over the actual submit button limit. is there any chance it can be added in? if not, i understand, but i would very much appreciate it. it'll stay up regardless of course and i'll be sure to join the next one with way more lead time!

hey y'all. i only found this Jam earlier today but i thought it was a fun lil bullet hell opportunity. def have some more ideas for the future, maybe develop this into something more substantial. built in a few hours in godot 4.6.

a very fun roll through a mish mash of levels you'll never forget

very smooth tunes for an elevator going nowhere (and that's a-okay)

wow i did not think i was going to have a competitor for "most off-kilter batshit wavy dissonance and destruction" but here we are. couldn't be happier for it, too.

oh i know i'm being followed but i just can't seem to care... i'm ready whenever you are. bring the black bag, zio.

i feel like my delusions and yr delusions could be real good friends. that said, i'm here to peruse some wares. why is there an endless dim flickering bulb aisle before me?

try that one

nice and easy does it. calming, soothing, and not even in the sinister way we've all come to expect. a fun lil trip.
