Same issue as other comment. Also my antivirus software freaked out from the exe file. Just noting as looks really neat from screen shots and video.

I can quit making notes when wanted, but till others do I am enjoying seeing the improvements and how fast updates that come. Hit boxes for objects still a little off putting (main example the blanket fold on the bed acting like a platform where it seems more like it would be something to step up onto just by walking), but works much better with the changes made, it still has much better feel over all and especially not having to fight controls as with first release presented here.
I could see as branching to a nice puzzler or a platformer given how much more work you are wanting to put into it.
For a short little experience it seems like a project that can expanded on and improved, but as a first it is a good work in progress.
Will also ask: Is picking up the pencils part of the tutorial or is there something else?
Cheers and keep up the good work.
Neat little game, I think the hit boxes for the items you jump on or walk on need a bit of work, mostly the ruler section was the most finicky. Also maybe add a variable to start at a reduced speed from standing to avoid sliding off smaller areas when needing to turn while platforming. It would also be nice if when you get to the location that needs item installed it either lines up or a mechanism to rotate and require you to do it yourself depending if want more puzzler than platformer.
It is a good start of a little game will keep installed to see where it goes.
PS: If planning to use as a means to test mechanics adding more puzzles to find the 6 vials seems like a good way to do so. Example the blocks could be a stacked around one and you put together the robot to then have it walk into or punch the blocks to open the area to grab.
Neat little game. I think there are some balance issues still it is a tad bit getting better along the way, but when you die once it seems might either start over or bum rush each stairs since you get agroed instantly by slimes before equipping things. Nice little roguelike for few minute spurts though.
I would recommend either your respawning on a "prison floor" that has some basic stuff or making the slimes a little less aggressive or aware. Also some image outside of text noting that you are hitting like the monsters have.
I will say cheers on progress I down loaded when first posted and it is improving, so hope to see where goes. It is a nice little time killer and I know at this point you have the means to make better the way you have fixed things thus far I can tell you have something that can be fun in small bites or longer when completed.
I like the art and what was presented. Unfortunately it seemed the the controls for me were a bit off. I will note I have a faulty mouse as of right now, but a hold to click to move would be great and ability to know attacks are being processed or completed as I would get a red ring sometimes and move to target to just stand. This was especially obvious with how the boss was just me trying to get things to function properly. If these things would be able to get flushed out and you were to expand on the story (I understand jams are limited to time), this has potential of a flushed out good story of a child letting his imagination take care of him while his parents have to be away.
To note sorry for wall of text I like the idea and think the end product could be a fun little adventure of endless directions the story could go. Also to note I made mistake to not fully read description before wall of text was created, so narrowed down a bit to not be completely redundant with above.
