Quick question. Is it possible with this system to only darken certain areas in the game room? For example, in my top down game, I have a bright outside world, but you can walk into an area that has a roof and should be dark inside. Can I tell Crystal to only darken that area under the "roof"? By the way, how do I find the discord server?

I put the renderer in my room, but how do I set the darkness of the room? I also tried to set the daynight ambience script in the step event but it is not working. I tried to create a custom obj_light by using one of the presets as a parent, but it doesn't seem to allow me to adjust any of the variables such as light_radius. I also want to get the light to flash quickly and then destroy itself but I cannot seem to get that to occur as well.
It works!! Your system is so awesome! I'm really glad I bought it! I can't wait to tweak it to make my game look so much better. I put it in a dungeon room and it is crazy how much it enhances the eerie atmosphere. Thank you for helping me get it imported. Thank you for the quick reply. I'm at work and tried to look through documention using my phone quick. I have another question. Can I create custom dark areas in a room that has buildings I can enter? Let's say I don't want the entire room to be dark, but only a 300x300 pixel area. Is that possible? Is it easy to shut the system off in rooms where my player is outside during day when light is not needed?
I'm a little nervous buying this and adding it to my project. It is a bit expensive for me. I want to make sure it ends up working properly. What is the best way to request help if I need help? Also, my game has a camera that sets up the display size, window size, and then resizes the application to make everything pixel perfect. Will this lighting system mess with any of that?
