That might have been the fault of our lack of tutorial 😅 we had it at the top of the itch page and in the how to play but you can discard your cards to shorten redraw timer. Between that and card effects, you should be able to be a whirlwind of damage and it really changes stuff. The more common thing we've seen is people having too much damage and killing everything too fast since we tuned things pretty forgivingly so people could experiment more with the systems.

Glad you and enjoyed the music and monsters, we also want to add all sorts of juiciness and general ui fixes, we got super rushed at the end ♥️

(copied from the person after you, two in a row having this issue is weird)

Gosh, weird that grow and shrinking were breaking! I know a lot of folks had them work properly, but you and previous comment had it breaking. Could you tell me if you were mobile/windows/linux?

So fair, the encounters get real hectic! Using the enchantments to manipulate numbers definitely helps with consistency, and echo (return to hand) and dense (do 2 extra damage) help with the enemy stopping power each hand has, but even then then time pressure can totally get to ya. Glad we could make something for the deckbuilder enjoyers :)

Yeah I think the way that happens is Dense (do extra damage) overkilling iterates the kill counter and does funky stuff. The game usually works fine but that in particular seems like an annoying edge case thing :( Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the game!! Balancing it to be a reasonable difficulty for folks who aren't using all the mechanics while keeping it exciting for those who go super fast is tough, but im glad you made it to that flow state! Thanks for playing :)

Didn't know what to expect but super cute! Love the characters and clear passion behind this :)

Amazing game :) I saw potion, energy, longsword, and just clicked buttons very fast! Cool that perhaps one of the only other people with a deck builder using real time combat found our project as well.

Not even just fellow deckbuilder, fellow real time card game creator! Your game was real cool, I really liked energymaxxing + longsword potion :)

Cute bomb guy! I am so happy to see a cool innovation on snake, great idea!

LOVE QUARK SO MUCH!! Deep gameplay, I appreciate scourge for taking all my hits. Great work!

Amazing game! I was really hoping poor drac would have a fun weekend scene but I'm glad I at least got there :o

I may have gotten through the even/claim stuff super fast since I started scanning those first and ruling a lot of things out, amazing art and otherwise great time!

The later levels get tough for sure! Discarding what you don't need and using spells to their maximum potential is a lot so definitely get that, and yeah definitely wish we had more time to polish but alas the jam ways :p

Really clever and well made! I like how it's a puzzle game but it keeps me on my toes at all times!

I really enjoyed the precise moves you can make once you get a little slowed. Cool comeback mechanic, and just such a clean and fun experience. Great work!

Yeah we didn't explain it super well ;-; things came down to the wire but hopefully you still got to do some silly stuff! We were super happy to bring some of that mechanical skill/speed into a deckbuilder for sure!

Nothing motivates like a ticking time bomb... I loved the energy of the host, Wasim Pirom is awesome. Great music and vibes with all that, great work!

133.16 i wonder if that's decent ;0

I liked how the air made some unintuitive paths the best ones! Great work :)

Nothing like a bunch of kitties and tasks all at once, so many bottles and just so much chaos haha

Yeah we'd love to have added something like card fusing, that would be such a blast! Only so much time in a jam, but great suggestions!

The flipping colors is so tricky, lots of cool timing things there. Also man am I bad at pool. I like how the spaceship thrust controls are a real challenge but part of the point! Herding cats was my favorite mode, once I got the hang of how the tractor field worked it was really fun :)

Such a cute droid! I just met him and I wanna protect him no matter what, even if he's a little low battery guy ;-; Fun levels and just great vibe.

Love myself some evil overcooked!! The bossa nova music to go with frantic microwaving and chaos is great :D

Love the classic cave diver choice we have to make at the beginning! The map design + control scheme does such a good job giving that feeling of desperation, what a great totally uneventful cave dive ;)

The art style has so much character, and I love the sounds & lil quirks. Strong adventure time and other classic cartoon network vibes, love this so much!

So cute!! Everyone has had this happen, awesome concept for a game and great execution too!

The fish spoilage mechanic is so stressful but it makes getting the shipments to the right places so satisfying! Also, awesome music & ambiance

Love that theme, I love the vibe of wario-ware style minigames with a macabre premise like this! So awesome

Amazing game!! I love the infinite bounces, and in general it's so fun that having all these single shot (ish) weapons led to planning out how to deal with different swarms of enemies. Absolute banger :)

The key/door polygon showing the number of shots left was so creative and a great touch! Otherwise, fantastic aesthetic :) Awesome game

Such a smart rework! awesome :)

Amazing game! I think it is annoying to have to get combo counter back to 0 for mirror, just takes a while, but fun already!

The puzzles are so slick and the way it uses the game's mechanics is awesome. Now I know what it's like to fight superhot players.

Absolutely love the idea. I consider it sort of a combat take on a rage game, where it feels like it wants you to understand the general combo/frame-based way to deal damage without taking any similar to a fighting game.

The best game I've played in this jam by far!! Only thing is I wish we had more control over the tank guy, it'd be super sweet if we could use him to block shots. Adding onto that idea, maybe projectiles that hurt the healer or the tank more, so you're incentivized to control which party member gets hurt? I wasn't really sure how best to use the cloaking, I realized about halfway through you could be a bit more aggressive to speedrun but it didn't feel like there was any point to do that. Amazing art and gameplay, I love this concept so much and I wanna see it in more games.

It did feel a bit easy since the balls didn't seem to ever be fired with leading relative to the player's movement though. It was a neat concept on a bullet hell type game.

It was really unclear when using the cheats was gonna get P1 points, so it felt like I had very little agency. The art and filter for the game was cool.

The jumps were semi randomly being short, unsure why. I found the controls were fighting me a lot. I liked the clean art style though.

This is an incredible concept! I wish there were stats or some way to know what each creature vaguely has as stats, it would be cool to be able to intentionally be able to choose creature combinations that work together such as deploying tanky ones near the adventurers and ranged ones away from them, something like that. Very fun!
