I like the vibe and the pacing of the game. The fact that every enemy killed means a bit of the area is saved is really good. I would recommend putting something in the game to recover the HP, because I came to the Boss on only 2 hearts and got my ass whooped (skill issue). Would really like to see this grow into a full game.

The fact that one has to download the game to play it is a bit of an annoyance and the platforming part is not easy to grasp so it made me quit the game. The game in and of itself is really good, the puzzles are simple but creative, the voice overs are a nice detail, it would be better if it contained subtitles as well but it is okay as is. The overall progression going from one part of the apartment to another is really good, the story is there. I really hope you score high in this game jam.
I have no idea what the sotry is about, but I do know that it is a reference to something I did not watch. Furthermore, I find it interesting the way it plays, if more books were interactable like this one, the world would be a happier place. Also, the quote "After seeing two animals being devoured in front of us, our pattern recognition kicked in" got me laughing.
Put the movement of the character on WASD it is more natural there than on the arrow keys. Put the hit on another button and not on the mouse, because mouse is not used for aiming. Dashing is really smooth and I like the day night cycles. The story is not there yet so maybe start working on that. Overall it truly is just a demonstration. Keep on working on it :)
"Your actions echo, but walls do not listen"
This game has it all:
- The creepy vibe with the story, audio & visuals
- Great level desing and intuitive controls
- An unique way of implementing the theme
But honestly the game is really good, I played 4 times until I got to the ending. Only on the fourth time did I remeber I could sprint.
