I really liked the rain effect and that winged demon boss fight. The thunder and lightening sound sfx are pretty sweet too. I noticed that I can keep "buying" holy water and lives after I ran out of money. It starts going into negatives after I reach zero. The only other thing that would be awesome to see is a life meter for the boss. Great updates, keep it up!
So I played using your advice and was able to beat the big reaper. The only thing is that after I killed him, I continued walking until I went right off the edge of the level. I tried to pause so I could screen grab and realized the position of the pause is underneath the Itch.io UI so I couldn't pause! Maybe consider making your game window smaller. I use 980x635. Hope this helps, I'd like to see more of the game after level 2!
Great game! It's pretty fun to play, I like the SFX and music as well. I can't seem to get paste the giant reaper on level 2. There are too many enemies. I've tried running past, standing and shooting, moving and shooting, not sure how to do it. I also like the concept of buying power-ups with $$ collected from killing enemies. But I'm not sure how the holy water makes me more powerful and why I need to buy more medals, as I seem to start with the same amount each time. If you can give me a hint on how to get past that reaper, let me know. Keep up the great work!
Got both endings and I had a great time playing this. I really liked the simplicity of the graphics and the little details like deer and the small cave experience. My only feedback would be that the baby crying sounds a little too young to be coming from the son. I half expected to find a baby. Other than that, nice work, looking forward to more!
Yikes, that's no good. I built this game on a 10 year old HP EliteBook 8740w laptop, so I notice it chokes up in later levels as more enemies spawn in at once. But I've never experienced 2.5fps. I also notice lower performance when playing directly in the browser. Definitely try downloading this to a faster machine, would be great to get your thoughts on the game. Thanks for the review!

Recently I noticed that every WebGL game I was playing using Google Chrome was giving my really bad FPS, however, things ran smoothly in FireFox. I updated Google Chrome to the latest version and WebGL games run smoother now. Hope this helps.
Thank you! I spent a lot of time picking out the right music. Thanks to Kevin MacLeod and Nat Keefe with The Bow Ties for their talents in music making.
You have a good foundation to make a fun little golf game here. My feedback would be:
- Add barriers to the course edges so the player can't fall off. If the player does fall off, then just reset the player position.
- Instead of the power bar just filling and stopping. I'd make it go back and forth, from full to empty while the player is holding down the mouse.
Keep up the work!
