Hello! We're Team 22, and we're making a game called The Last Acorn. This was a student project for Stanford's CS247G, but we're making it a fully fledged game!
The Last Acorn is a relaxing puzzle platformer where you play as a squirrel who is collecting acorns for their hungry babies. We are looking for an artist who can create nature-based art, such as trees, rocks, water, etc, as well as animal-based character creation and animation in a pixel art style. The game currently has 5 levels, but we aim to reach a target level count of 20 by the end of the summer, while also introducing numerous new mechanics and areas to explore.
Your art will be front and center in this game so any contribution you make will have a major impact on the game! We can't pay you up front, but if you work with us and really do make a meaningful contribution to the game, we are happy to share revenue from the Steam release.
About the Team
As mentioned above, this game started as a class project for a game design class. For almost every member, this is the first game that we have produced, and we are learning together. We are flexible with hours and are all remote, so most work will be done on your own time.
