i am the king of overexplaining, but i shall keep my mouth shut just for the love of the game :]

this was a weird one, and i mean that as a compliment. i love the shift from scifi to this cosmic wonder (and a shift between the two that i won't spoil ;]). the layout and design is evocative of their given genres, and the combination of the two is absolutely to die for. well done!

i like this a lot! i do want to point out a single typo that might be good to fix: in the warden notes, you mention the shrine is at 4, but it's actually at 5. this is super minor, but i did have to do a double take when i first read it.
that detail aside, the layout is easy to parse, the writing is solid, and i love the illustrations! excellent work.

(1 edit)

i teared up reading this. the amount of joy and wonder this filled me with-- it's like being a kid again and playing point-and-click adventures on the home computer. i cannot express enough how much this entry affected me with its art, writing, and charm. that's honestly the best word for it: charm. excellent work!!
edit: i forgot to mention the choice of New Rocker for the headings. it's a personal favorite of mine and it fits this perfectly

thank u!! the radio is my favorite thing in this :]

this is possibly my favorite in terms of visuals. makes me want to experiment with paper cut outs. i have to ask tho, have you seen Madoka Magica? the visual language of the witches in that show seem like it'd be up your alley!

oh this layout is a delight!! it's flavorful, maximalist design only adds to the fun mystery afoot. great work!!

thank you so much!! i've been workin on this system since i think last december? it's been a blast, and i'm glad i get to show it off in this!

i'd love to see this one expanded into a longer module, or even just a short story. the writing is captivating, haunting, and full of intrigue. great work!

thank you!!

thank you so much! i loved working on this :]

ty! the sequel aspect is actually a joke leaning into the fake book title aspect of the challenge, but also a reference to another piece i'm writing!

the writing in this isn't too verbose as to bloat the page or too sparse as to leave the players/GM in the dark. in the words of Goldilocks, "it's juuuuust right." excellent work!!

god i need to get into Liminal Horror. this was a fantastic read from start to finish-- well done!!

the watercolor paintings work incredibly well with the writing. the setup feels like it would be fun to run in Blades in the Dark. bravo!

tysm!

hihi! i was wondering if the old edition has to remain on the page the new one is on, since i have a revamp of my first game that i'd like to submit (but the first edition isn't available anymore). should i provide the old to compare with the new, or is the new one fine without the context?

this is such a brilliant piece of gaming. highly recommend!

this is a fun one. reminds me a bit of danger five, though it's been awhile since i watched it. excellent work!

this is phenomenally haunting. easy to understand as an outsider to Cairn, and looks really fun overall! great work :]

obsessed with the bee pun. buzzing with excitement!

*i am not rating because i worked on this*

this was so much fun to read, especially as it evolved from draft to final! the guns were my favorite bit, personally. (jellyfishlines gave me permission to promo projects i enjoy, sooooooo) you should also check out The Still of Touchstone StationHeart of the Stygian Grove, and jellyfish also really enjoyed Spell of the World-Weavers. thank you for letting me do the layout on this!

ty for the clarification! this is a brilliant adventure. excited for what you do next!

dude this rules! the idea of collecting elements of a story as bards is genius, and i'd love to run this! my one question is about the number of things known at the beginning. i didn't see where it said how much you know, nor how much you *can* know by the end. maybe i missed it, but either way, amazing work!

swansong radio is my personal favorite mechanic, so ty!

tysm! i love doing layouts for games

great minds buzz alike!

ty! i had a lot of fun with this one :]

this is phenomenally unique. a setting between settings, the liminality of it all, i want to explore it in my own games now. bravo!

i'm obsessed with the visuals on this one, and the writing is incredible. absolutely phenomenal work.

tysm! :]

the visuals in this one are super cute! i also like the color palette and the way you mapped out the routes (both on the amp and in the detailed explanation for each location). great work!!

i love the mystery in this one!

omg tysm!! i do want to expand on it, for sure.  this is for a system i need to finish writing out and actually release it, so i'm glad the fervent hive was enjoyable!

the visuals on this one are absolutely stunning! excellent work :]

YESSS ANOTHER BEE-THEMED RELIGION. i'm reading through it now and it's a delight so far!!

this is amazing! i love the use of marestail as a metaphor for growing up in the 90s and 00s. well done!

good point - thank you!

hello! is it alright if i use a system i made, or does it have to be one that's pre-established? ty!

i'm gonna choose ghost recovery! this sounds like a lot of fun
