Great job, I belive you will not throw away this project - it have SO MUCH potential to be extended to a full game

YO SO SOMEONE REALLY MANAGED TO MAKE A GAME ABOUT TRADING.
I swear, I spend a whole first day to make something like this but nothing interesting comes to my head.
Your game is cool tho. I feel like there are some minor balance issues - it's too easy to lose. But that could be very likely a something usually called as "skill issue".
I think I should participate in these long jams more often. I spent maybe 5 hours a day on it (probably a little more on weekends), and I think it turned out pretty well. I've always had the problem of not getting anything done in 48/72 hours, and I end up feeling both sad that I didn't make the game I wanted and completely drained from crunching for 2-3 days straight.
Thanks to everyone who participated! I've played about 40 games so far and found some truly incredible gems.
It's an interesting city builder, and I really liked the concept and visual style.
But a game like this is sorely lacking a tutorial and proper hotkeys (or maybe there was one, but I missed it due to the lack of a tutorial).
Anyway, it's pretty cool. I did play like 5 min and I ended up having fun with it
Nice music also
That's cool.
Making it with your own programming language is +100 to coolness.
Some thoughts/feedback - I kept trying to press combinations like W+A or A+S to move the tile upper left/down left, maybe you should try to add new keyboard layout with just raw WASD + combinations to move tile diagonally (but I'm not sure)
Anyway Well Done :3
Thanks for playing!
I stole the idea from Sebastian Lague from this video (link with timecode), but simplify it a lot.
The only things I changed - instead of "depth map" I just used radial gradient from the island center and colorize itas gradient between 3 colors and I didn't add normal maps. And I did remove glare, cuz it was looked strange in my toon shaded game.
I also tried to recreate this shader from roystan, but didn't like the result.
Everyone's already written about the feedback, so I don't want to repeat it or write anything negative.
I'd rather say that the gun merging mechanic is truly interesting. I've launched the game about five times and I don't think I've ever gotten the same gun twice. That's cool.
IMO, it would be cool to have several guns available from the first wave so I could try merging them + there's defenetly need a some sort of tooltip with a brief description of "what to expect from a gun."
Also cool theme interpritation
Ok, spent some time in this one and it defenetly have potential. What I didn't like was that the spawning of new pawns is random (correct me if I'm wrong). In a game like this, it's like you always want to be able to plan out what will happen in a few moves (like in chess or checkers).
Besides that - Interesting concept, was really fun to play it.
Idea is cool and fun, but the lack of polish is killing it :c
I think you should have colorize the tiles itself, not only the text. I'm sure it would improve the understanding of what's happening on the screen by 1000 times. It is very difficult to understand how exactly the tiles are merged and which ones.
Fun, smooth and polish.
The only downside for me is the small number of advance levels and the lack of a last big-boss level with all the mechanics where I gonna struggle for like 5 minutes (like in some other puzzles at this jam).
But that's not a big deal – the game itself and the idea are really cool, defenetly 5/5.
