This is truly a masterpiece! I've only collected one ending so far (Greed beats charity - what can I say, I had to collect that frog!) and I look forward to trying again to get them all. I'm really enjoying exploring the Asylum and figuring out how to help the ghosts. The design and layout of the game is fantastic too. Great job!

What a fun and unique game! On a thematic level, I appreciated all the Biblical references and critique of capitalism. It was very eerie experiencing the Annual Country Market 'out-of-hours' and fun deducing how to ward off the various horrors you encounter.

I always like when games teach me things about different culture and folklores, and I really enjoyed your game! It's suspenseful but cozy at the same time, and the details about Celtic folklore are interwoven nicely rather than info-dumped.

The layout and design of your game is really fitting and effective. I enjoying playing it multiple times to see how the different choices affected gameplay.

That is a super helpful resource! Thank you for that.

Thank you!

This has such a unique linguistic mechanic and I've never played a game like it - very creative! Once I'd gotten used to solving the oronym puzzles, I really enjoyed playing the game and exploring all the different rooms. A colourful cast of supporting characters too!

I really enjoyed playing this game! The perspective of playing as a ghost was very unique and I liked learning more about the ghost's history as I played through the game. The extra details about the setting that you can read depending on what options you pick are great too.

I enjoyed this - it's such a wholesome game! The game is short, but creates such a powerful sense of atmosphere, and I enjoyed exploring the pumpkin patch.

Thank you for the comments! I found the limited colour palette of bitsy interesting to work with but I think that made my choices more intentional. And, yes, I completely agree - the pathways and exit alignment is definitely something I'd improve upon!

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you! It was great fun using the book as inspiration for this project.

Thanks for your feedback! I enjoyed referencing the original book and finding ways to make the game much more macabre.

I might have missed something, but what do you mean by Andrew Schultz's map?

Thank you, I had fun making them eerie!

Thank you for your comment! I enjoyed creepifying Oz very much.

Thank you for the comments! I tried to create a contrast between the wholesomeness of the graphics and the eeriness of the writing, so I'm glad it worked out.

I played to get all four endings. A very thought-provoking exploration of transphobia.

A very fun (and funny!) experience! I enjoyed trying out all the options and seeing how futile they are. The ending is very clever and I appreciate the relatability!

Wow, a very eerie and thought-provoking experience. I like the clever merging of the real and slightly-less-real. You've clearly done a lot of research to create such a meaningful piece, good job.

This was a very eerie, succinct experience! I liked how the cabin changed from being a safe place to a creepy one. My favourite part was the ending - I wasn't expecting it and the creeping fear that we might end up like the narrator after seeing it was chilling.

I had never played an Adventuron game before, and this was a really fun introduction to the platform!

I enjoyed the whimsical tone of the game, and enjoyed using the different clues to figure out the correct laundry to wash.

Looking forward to next year's installation in the Ghost Hunt series :D

Very fun to play, I liked the uncanniness of exploring a house that should be so familiar to you but at the same time was... off. I also like how many details were left unexplained (e.g. why the house is like it is, where the player ends up at the end) because it made the atmosphere more creepy!

The change of background colour when the setting changed was a nice addition. I enjoyed trying to reach all the different endings too.

I really like the perspective of this game being written in second person and that the player plays a passive role as they learn more about the relationship and their part in it. Without causing spoilers, I found it interesting that the player isn't the hero of this story.

I also like the structure of the narrative and how we can only unlock sections of the story near the end of the game.

A really unique and haunting game, nice work!

I like how the tone is both spooky and light-hearted, it works really well for the type of game you've created.

I also enjoyed testing out all the options in the section at the end!

Hello! I've joined the jam and want to join the discord server, but the link is invalid for me.

This game is very effective at showing just how desolate the housing market is!

I really like this prototype! It draws on so many aspects of revolution and societal change which grants your game a nice complexity without being overwhelming! I also like how you can see so much info from your computer, the local and national news was a good insight and the statistics are useful too. Also, the art style is unique and cohesive. Will be interesting in seeing more as work progresses on it.

Also, the loading messages as you start the game are hilarious!

I like how you've grounded your game in some (very sad) facts! Effective and hard hitting at portraying just how desolate the housing market is! Great job
