As a game developer, it's hard not to get caught up in the hype surrounding modern graphics. Everywhere you look, developers are pouring their resources into creating games that look like they've been lifted straight from a Hollywood blockbuster. But in the midst of all this, I couldn't help but wonder - why does a game have to look pretty to be good?

That's why I decided to create Truck Raid - a game that proudly flaunts its rough, gritty, and downright ugly visuals. I wanted to challenge the status quo and prove that a game doesn't have to be pretty to be fun. In fact, sometimes, a game can be even more fun when it's not pretty at all.

But why do we as gamers and game developers place so much emphasis on graphics? The answer lies in our natural desire to be immersed in the worlds we play in. When we play a game, we want to feel like we're really there, like we're a part of the action. And there's no denying that stunning visuals can go a long way towards creating that feeling.

But at the same time, graphics are not the be-all and end-all of gaming. Even the most beautiful game in the world can be boring if the gameplay isn't engaging. And that's where Truck Raid comes in. Despite its intentionally ugly graphics, the game offers a fun, challenging, and addictive gameplay experience that will keep you coming back for more.

So why not embrace the ugly side of gaming? Instead of pouring all your resources into creating stunning visuals, focus on creating a game that is fun, challenging, and offers a unique gameplay experience. Who knows, you might just be surprised at the results.

As for the 1990s, the point here is that a similar game to this was this year, but it doesn't exist anymore, so I made a remake of it. Only in a slightly better style.

Hey, my game is based on the 1990s when one of the first cars was made. I know there are a lot of professional developers here, so what can I improve with my game? Link to game: https://starproduction.itch.io/truck-raid/
