Thank you so much for the detailed explanation!

Actually, I’ve already been using some of the robots, effects, and other assets from the old Legacy version in my current project. There are so many charming assets in that version, and I’m really enjoying working with them!

Just to be completely sure, since I am using those assets, will there be any copyright or commercial use issues when I release the game in the future?

Thanks again for your help and for creating such awesome work!

Hi! I have a question about the asset.

Are the maps included in the “Legacy Pack - Old Version” completely separate from the assets included in “SciFi BG Toolkit Vol.1 - Updated.zip”?

If they are completely separate, I’m considering keeping and using them separately. However, if some of the assets in the Legacy Pack are updated versions of the ones included in the current pack, I was wondering if it would be better to just use the newer versions.

Could you please clarify the relationship between the two? Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the clear and detailed response!

Thanks to you, all my questions have been cleared up, and I can now focus on development with complete peace of mind. I'll definitely keep your advice about pixel quality and visual consistency in mind while working on the game.

Thank you again for creating such awesome assets! I'll be sure to come back and share the project with you here once it's finished.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi! I bought your Pixel-Art SciFi Toolkit packs on itch.io and I'm using them in my 2D sci-fi roguelike. Thank you for the great art!

I have a few quick license questions (the included EULA is issued under the name "Barely Apes"):

1. Is "Barely Apes" the same author as Barely_Games, and does that EULA apply to all of your packs on itch.io?

2. I recolor and resize some sprites to fit my game. I understand this is allowed under "You may edit and use the assets". Is that correct?

3. Is it OK to include the assets (modified or not) inside my finished game build, as long as I don't distribute them as standalone files? For now I keep the original files in a private repository for backup only, and I plan to remove them from the repository once my work is complete.

4. I use an AI coding assistant to help write my game's code. It sometimes opens the image files to measure sprite sizes or do simple recoloring. The assets are not used for AI training, not put into any dataset, and not used to generate new art, and the game itself has no AI features. Is this kind of use acceptable under the EULA, or would you prefer I avoid it?

Thanks a lot for your time!

Thank you so much for the detailed reply!

I’m really glad to hear that you’ve already been considering adding more directions. The NE view would already be a great addition, so I’m definitely looking forward to it!

I completely understand the technical challenges with the weapons and Z-axis positioning. I really appreciate you taking the time to work out the best solution before moving forward.

Thanks again for your hard work, and I wish you all the best with the asset pack!

Hi! I recently purchased this asset pack and I’m really enjoying it. Thank you for creating such a great set of characters!

I noticed that the characters currently only have left- and right-facing views. Would you ever consider adding 4-directional or even 8-directional versions of the characters?

I think having more directions would make the characters even more useful for different types of games. I’d definitely love to see something like that in the future!

Thanks again for your great work!

Hi there! I have one more question. Are all the assets in this bundle 16x16 size except for the character set?

Hi there! I was wondering if there is any way I could listen to a quick audio preview or demo of this pack before purchasing?

Thank you so much for your kind reply! I'm really excited to hear that you already have plans for future expansions with new robots and alien creatures.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create in the future. Thanks again, and I wish you all the best with your future projects!

Hello! I’m a big fan of your work, and I really love this asset. I’m considering purchasing it and using it in my game.

I was wondering if there might be any plans to release a larger or expanded pack for the Pixel-Art SciFi Toolkit series in the future. For example, are you considering adding more types of robots, alien creatures, or perhaps expanding the playable character’s equipment beyond guns to include more sci-fi fantasy elements such as swords, axes, saws, or magic staffs?

Also, I would like to confirm the licensing terms. As stated in the description, is commercial use allowed, and is it correct that no attribution or credit is required?

Thank you very much for your time, and I really look forward to seeing what you might create for this series in the future!
