A couple of questions:

If I fail to make a "risk it" roll, I'm required to roll again. Am I therefore required to continue re-rolling until I succeed or perish? And does a multiple "risk it" challenge have these same re-roll requirements?

Since the second edition of the game does not allow me to choose "stress" as a condition of a "risk it" roll failure, what is the drawback for applying the "stress" bonus to every "risk it" roll?

This has become our favorite dungeon-delving TTRPG, evolving each time we play it, accumulating house rules along the way, growing into a uniquely personal experience. Thank you for creating this darkly gleaming gem!

We're greatly enjoying the game. 

Since players can upgrade their luchadores by increasing their Hero Points, I suppose they should make a distinction between base Hero Points and temporary Hero Points on their character sheets.

We're just now digging into Crime-fighting Luchadores, and we have a couple of questions.

1. Do hero points that a Luchador earns by rolling critical hits replenish between episodes? If so, that seems as though the hero points might become quickly overpowering.

2.  Does a Special Move use the Luchador's Acrobatics bonus? Or does it use his Muscle's bonus? Does it also use an Asset bonus like a regular attack?

By the way, the Special Move example on the bottom of page 13 cuts off in mid-sentence.

We were enjoying Luchador Hero so much, we also purchased a physical copy of Crime-fighting Luchadores!  We're hoping to port some ideas back and forth between the two.

Can crossbows be used only to attack monsters in adjacent squares?

It's challenging but fun. Bravo to you for making such an enjoyable, accessible, and easily adjustable game!

We were under the impression that a Luchador  cannot make an Investigation Check for a Clue unless he is successful against both the Enemy and whatever Tasks are at the same Location.

Are you saying, instead, that a Luchador can flee combat with an Enemy and still attempt whatever Tasks are at the same location, and if he is successful with said Tasks,  he can then make an Investigation Check for a Clue?

Also, can a Luchador make more than one attempt to flee a combat?

We're enjoying the game immensely and would like to get a couple of clarifications.  

Does fleeing a combat count as a "failure"? 

 Does fleeing a combat mean you also miss the opportunity to undertake the location's task?
