A Shark Game for a godot jam features pillars and wall pieces. Thanks to your assets I was able to give the ocean floor a much more interesting look in record time. If I had found these earlier there's no telling how wild I might have gone adding decor!
I love the wipe away effect and the art a lot! Didn't quite understand why the game was built on a grid like that but I'm sure you had your reasons. Great job!
You know it's fun if you can't put it down till you beat it! For me that mean spamming restart until I could clear a path without spending a fortune on the magnifying glass. That didn't feel right- but us goblins don't have time for your rules, we have gold to gobble. Mimics being towers didn't feel right- I think it would be better if you just discovered that that rock was indestructible or something.
I made it through the game to the Chronotyrant and took pleasure in erasing the character that mid-game died at the beginning of every battle XD. Thank you Chronotyrant, would erase again. 10/10 for a game jam game.
Hmm maybe I should put in a timer that after time's up focuses the players attention on the objectives at the bottom? Anyway your encouragement means a lot- this was a real grind getting done
ty m8. Yes, I have to admit after seeing how central erasing is to many of the games in the jam, grinding away old coin features to erase detail is more of a feature than the primary game mechanic. I had no idea so many people would have such great ideas about erasing!
A great use of the theme for sure- the only thing I HATED was clicking an upgrade and realizing I had lot the opportunity to learn about what I had just chosen haha. I might end up keeping this game running all day.
Randomly game across this game, I absolutely adore it! Just the right amount of challenge. The concept of a robot trying to deal with the perils of lawn care? There's so many natural challenges to work with! Great job.
