Interesting game, I had fun. To me, the single thing that prevented me to have more fun was that the car is very unstable, often rolling and requiring me to reset (and thus go back far away from where I was).

Also took me a while to see the beacons, and understand that the “123m” indicator refers to the distance to the delivery destination.

The idea of having the delivery items to make the driving more difficult (olive oil making it more slippy…) was really nice! Is the brick working as auto-throttle a reference to putting a brick over the gas pedal? :-)

Nice one! Don’t see turn-based strategy games very often in game jams! (Hope to make one myself someday! :-) ) I also found level 3 too difficult, big jump in difficulty from level 2 to 3.

Fun one, congrats! Would love to see a bit further ahead the road!

Very fun to play! Creative idea, great boss fight feel!

This game worked really well, congrats! Wonderful atmosphere created through every detail in graphics and sound, along the writing in the tutorial! The game itself is simple and challenging (great combination!), but the experience as a whole is top notch! My game favorite so far, after about a dozen played!

Cool game! The environment is very nicely done: the graphics look nice and the interaction with objects (like breaking flowerpots) is a nice touch that add to the cattiness of the game :-)

I found the controls a bit too sensitive, tough. Quite difficult for me to get the jumps just right!

Hey, not bad for your first game! The concept is interesting, but I struggled with the controls. I found it difficult to time the rewinds to double jump at the right moment.

I like the visuals! I mean, you understandably went for something ultra-simple, but it worked for me. Love the giant countdown as the background and the color palette. (The player-controlled clock doesn’t match everything else that well, though… it has too much detail IMO. And no, I can’t think on how to represent a clock face with less detail :-P)

This is completely nuts–love it! Very funny game!

Thanks everyone commenting! 100% agree battles are too luck-dependent. I mean, if there is a single button you can press and what it does is rolling dice… can’t get much more luck-based than that!

I originally planned for more strategic combat, with multiple usable “skills”, each with their own “cap” value, but didn’t get to that point!

Beautiful game, and fun to play! Wonderful sound also! And a brutal highway… :-( Than new nest looks so spacious with just me and Junior :-(

(I couldn’t get the game to run on Firefox/Linux: the loading bar loads fully, then nothing happens. Worked fine on Chromium/Linux, though.)

Nice, creative idea! I think in some rare cases my sentences made sense but the game didn’t recognize it as so. Played through a few times but couldn’t get grandma’s “good ending” (assuming there was one!)

Creative interpretation of the theme! Took me a while to understand how the game worked (I actually thought it was broken initially!), but once it clicked it was an interesting mix of puzzle and hand-eye coordination!
